I do like pickles. Speaking of tzaziki sauce... I love it on roasted chicken. One of the local Greek places popularized Greek style roast chicken (it is basically regular roast chicken with some sort of herb and lemon juice marinade) with tzaziki sauce served on the side. Great stuff though kind of more Greek-American than Greek though they do have that balkan cucumber salad.

Wow, every once in a while someone surprises you. When Denmark did this lots of the far left posters on a few other sites I post at claimed the Danes were acting like Nazis stealing the valuables of the poor refugees. I am glad you can be reasonable on some aspects of this topic.

I have to disagree with taking their valuables. Means testing welfare benefits is one thing, but the state has no business just confiscating all the possessions of foreign nationals.

The only woman who went into our garden was my housemate who was a 23-year old fitness instructor who partied with Kristen Wigg, Owen Wilson, and Zach Galifianakis. She loved the cucumbers. Sadly she also loved the tomatoes so much that I would catch her coming back with entire buckets of them! We had something like 23 tomato plants and sometimes I could go for days without scoring one.

I have called for noncitizens who are clearly just economic migrants and who are highly unlikely to ever be anything but a burden and source of crime to the citizens not to be admitted. Nah. She was partying with them down in Ashville NC this summer. They were making a movie about an inside heist at an armored car company. Owen Wilson had bumped into her sister on the street and got her number, then kept inviting them to cast parties.

Sadly, she moved down there three weeks ago and we're going to have trouble finding someone that can match her gardening skills. She was incredible with rare herbs.

It would make more sense to deny them welfare benefits as long as they have assets, but really it's none of the state's business. One of the problems we have in this country is the huge gap between black and white family assets. You really want people to retain as much as possible so it gives them financial security. During a downturn people who have a lot of assets tend to rely on them instead of turning to state support.

More simply, if the state's goal is to fight poverty then it shouldn't be running around turning middle class people into poor people by seizing all their assets. The policy is also senseless from the standpoint of wealthy refugees. "Give us your $2.4 million dollars and in return we'll pay you $600 a month!" No, there won't be any takers for that. Just don't give them $600 a month because they don't need an extra $600 a month. The same applies with the very poor. $4,000 might be all the money they've managed to save over the last few years. It's their buffer in a turbulent world. What right does the state have, a state that they're not even a citizen of, no less, to just snatch it away? Can they seize all the assets of American tourists, too?

True enough, asset forfeiture might not be the best policy, but one goal should at least be achieving the same policy for all. If it is the policy for German citizens, then why not have that be the policy for refugees. By all means, get rid of a bad policy, but apply it evenly while it exists.

Interestingly, the Jews became known for jewelry and music because those are assets and skills that are very mobile when it's time to pick up and move to another country. The would probably choke on the idea that upon arrival at a new place they're supposed to cough up all their diamonds and give them to the king. Of course they didn't have welfare back then either.

Thus they do not feel any shame in being on welfare, they do not feel any desire to ever get off of welfare, they feel this is their just desserts and that everyone else simply owes them welfare money forever. That is the type of arrogant and shameless people we are dealing with.

I saw comments by one of the migrants justifying their demands for European welfare by saying that it's all Allah's money and thus rightfully belongs to the Muslims. That's some typical Islamic logic right there.

The BBC really has become a slimey shit on this topic. It now refuses to tell its readers that, as always, the sex attackers are Islamic migrant filth and instead tries to pretend it is a "male problem".
