Forget wordforgers getting all worked up, Glenn Hoddle just came out with a belter...... "If thats the best Brazil have got, they are in real trouble"

Im sorry Glen, Brazil got to the semi final didn't they? Your mob got banged out in the group stages. In fact wasn't it 24 years since you last got to the semi?

(Could be wrong on that but off the top of my head, Gazza Italia 90 was the last England semi)

The funny thing, I hope Chup doesn't think he's being insulting when he says that I don't know as much about the Barclay's Premier League as he does. I mean seriously, no shit Sherlock! I mean shit, you got a fucking team of monkeys working around the clock to come up with that hypothesis. I didn't grow up watching soccer. Where I come from soccer was something children played at the Y before middle school sports started up. After that it was football, basketball and track. Then in highschool I started wrestling. I didn't start watching soccer until the summer of '04 when I was living in Germany during the Europameisterschaft. First soccer match I ever saw on TV. First three actually (Germany didn't go far that year, but I had a lot of fun watching the matches at the university, and still have the '04 jersey I wear regularly during Germany matches, they are my second team). So yeah, congrats, you know more about soccer than me, but I'll go out on a limb and say that I while I might not as much as you Eurosnobs about soccer I do know 3-4x more about the sport than you all know about football, basketball or folkstyle wrestling. Baseball and hockey, I don't really pay attention to, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, so maybe only 2-3x as much. So yeah, continue to take pride in the fact that after 40 years of soccer immersion you know more than a Yank with only 10 years of interest in the sport. Obviously you need to take your wins when you can get them. :diacanu:

Well, that was a pretty goal by Germany to win it after an otherwise surprisingly lackluster match. Both sides looked really tired and totally unable to finish.
