When will this... xbox service be available? I'm getting sick of waiting, and they're not making many announcements.
The infrastructure is there on Netflix's side. I've been using Roku's internet device to stream netflix video over the Internet to my TV for about 5 months. If you like indy movies, documentaries, BBC TV, old TV, old movies it's great. Not so much if all you watch are new releases (although there are some great recent indy releases). I reduced my DVD rentals from 4 out to 2 out. I've stopped watching them. I've got over 300 titles on my view instantly queue. I noticed on my son's 360 that he's getting teasers about netflix. Should be soon. It could be that netflix is making sure they have the servers to handle the added load. They probably won't make a big announcement when it is available.
The "New XboX Experience" is coming November 19th. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/nxe/faq.htm I assume the Netflix business will happen after this point.
