As anyone who has raised children (or been a child with siblings) knows, it's very de-constructive to discipline one while the other one sits there and chimes in, parroting everything you say and mocking them. My daughter has tried this a couple times when my son has been busted for something and I've shut her down so hard she usually winds up feeling like she's in more trouble than my son. The easiest thing, like in all other walks of life, is to handle these kinds of discussions in private with no third parties present. Her mom should have taken her to another room, closed the door, and had it out there, away from cameras and asshole brothers.
You can always tell a mature, classy woman (not a child) when they shriek their age over and over, and cry over a parent "ruining their life".
You see from her role model ... a woman so unsure of her decisions, she allows a teen age boy to 'back her up'! Bad parenting is the reason for this girl's behavior.
