Washington D.C. is in what is called a District (the D.C. part of the name stands for District of Columbia).

Just letting you know because you seem to think that voters in Virginia (again, NOT where D.C. is located) should have prioritized crime in D.C. (again, NOT in the state) over their own state issues.
