I know that DC. is a district and have known that since like the mid 1980s. I didn't say anything about it being a part of Virginia and the Republican Party is not my party. Care to answer why the SS opened fire on people trying to break into an unoccupied car? Where's the outrage?

If it needs to be explained to you why attempting to break into a secret service vehicle is a bad idea, it’s no wonder you didn’t know DC was a district until the 1980s.

As a person who has been to DC multiple times, it has always been this way. I remember my first alone trip to DC and they had some guy who was rolling up on people in a camaro and shooting them in the face with a shotgun for fun. It was happening around the American University campus bar row. I remember my friend saying if you hear someone shout out of a car at you dive for cover. Of course, this is the same guy who told us not to stare at passing cars when we were drinking out in front of my house because they would sense you are looking at them and they would catch us. He was a bit goofy.

There are some nice areas of DC, but it is a city, a tourist trap, and an areas of rich politicians and their visitors. It is not Dems fault, it is where you go if you want to steal and annoy rich people. If you wanted to shoot people then where else are you going to get as noticed as the capitol of the US?
