Even global cooling is a result of global warming. Haven't you seen how most everything is credited to global warming these days?

    :nono:

It's "climate change" now, the 'anthropogenic' assumed. Just in case all those dire predictions don't pan out as expected.

This was predicted by the IPCC. Usually it's too cold for it to snow in much of Antarctica. Since it's been getting warmer, it's started snowing more, hence more ice.

I suppose its also the reason why Mars temperatures have steadily risen as well?

Our pesky CO2 gets everywhere! Tut. Could it fuck be solar winds!

We don't actually have very much data about Martian climate trends.

Are you planning on running through all of the myths that have been cooked up?

What is kind of funny is we don't have much data on Earth and its climate trends either. A little more than a century of data isn't not nearly enough to make the types of judgments the enviro's like to make regarding the climate.

We have much more than a century of data, KIRK.

Really? We've been keeping track of our climate and weather patterns for far longer than a century? Do tell.

Anyone post a link to the satellite data from 1912?

Actually I'm hoping for something more from the time range of say 1812. After all henryhill is claiming that we've been doing this for far longer than a century.

We don't need to have been keeping track. Data about the climate in past centuries can be derived from elsewhere in nature such as geology and plantlife.

No, opinion's can be formed based off what scientist have reviewed, but that does not give us conclusive proof. Unlike the conclusive proof and verification we have over the past century or so that we've been tracking the weather and climate. To me that is a significant difference.

"Conclusive proof" is an alien concept in any aspect of science, you twit.

If you point me to where NASA have concluded from their research that the Martian climate is getting warmer, I will retract my statement.

But you can't, because it hasn't happened.

Uh-uh. Somebody doesn't know what the word "climate" means.

But more to the point instead of word play, Mars is changing at will.

It's not word play. Climate is a long-term phenomenon, and we don't have enough data from Mars to see any long-term trend - or even measure a short-term trend with any accuracy.

Your link doesn't even draw any conclusions at all anyway.

No. I, in fact, maintain that the climate of the earth has been exactly the same since our distant ancestors arose from the primordial soup.

Click the video link in it, idiot. The man holds up a picture he got from NASA.
