Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It)...

For not having met any of you, we all know each other pretty well. (Or at least our personas.) I have been thinking long and hard about self-actualization, and how we all need a little nudge from our friends now and then and I came up with this scheme:

Anyone who wants to opt in, we come up with a Task for them to perform. It has to be something that isn't mean or self-destructive. And it has to be accomplishable. But it should push the person out of their established comfort zone. It should also help a person grow and move forward.

Then, they are in the hot seat until they accomplish the task or admit failure. But they can't concede failure until they've asked for help from the rest of the group. And they must at least try some of the advice--within reason. We'll need to work out details; there must be checks and balances.

Then when you've accomplished your Task (this will be the Honor System, for the most part), you get to assign the next Task to the next person.

For instance, we could task Diacanu with getting his truck titled and licensed. Or we could task me with getting a job. (I'd suggest we task Cass with posting a picture of herself with a sign, but this is the Green Room .) As much as I'd desperately enjoy it, we probably can't task Mrs. A with kidnapping Shakes and making her her Love Slave--that'd be illegal and self-destructive in many regards. But we could Task her with getting Uncle Albert to take her to Fun Land (or whatever the amusement park was). I think. We could certainly Task Uncle A with TAKING her...

So what do you think? Intriguing? Completely impossible? Go home, Fox, you're drunk?

Point of order...making someone a Love Slave and even kidnapping is not illegal if someone wants to be kidnapped and made a Love Slave.

Granted, in my initial post, a new mission can't be assigned until the previous one is accomplished, but that could REALLY slow down this thread.
