So they are shooting World War Z in my city, even though its set in Philidelphia. I took a walk round George Square today and saw the place transformed with American cars, sign posts, traffic lights street frontages, newspaper and hot dog venders etc etc. Unfortunatley it was also full of screaming idiots trying to steal a look at Bradd Pitt. I'll try and take some photos in the next couple of days at lunch times, but until then heres some official ones the bbc website took. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14562248 Anyone read the book the movie is based on? Anyone stoked about it??
I read the book and liked it. I've been burned by bad movie adaptations so often, though, I haven't gotten really excited about one in a while. I will be looking forward to any pics or "insider" stuff you might be able to get us, though.
From what I am hearing the book and the movie will share the same title. At that point their connection ends. Think of what happened with Startship troopers.
Unfortunately, this looks like epic fail for book fans. I think we'd be lucky if this only sucks as bad as ST. Yeah, I should probably stop doing that.
My sister works in an office on George Square and she snapped a photo of Pitt today, apparently they are due to be shooting a high speed(60mph) crash scene tomorrow. I've been away in Manchester today, but I'll be back in the Glasgow office tomorrow. See if I can take any original pics on my lunch break. In the meanwhile, heres a link to a news report about girls hunting Brad Pitt. Not sure if its available outwith the UK? Click and see..... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-14572719

George Square turned into a little slice of Amercia The signals engineers actually hooking in the American Traffic Signals so they work
