So, as a reaction to the ZSG test on the other thread, I will be making my own Zombie Survival test. Any input will be appreciated.
Alright, technical question. Will I really create a huge explosion by attaching a road flare to a propane tank and shooting it with a rifle?
Nothing particularly useful in them. I imagine any place with useful items - like grocery stores and gun shops - would have been looted right away. Hell, even useless stuff will be looted; there will be people trying to dodge zombies with HDTVs and Xbox360s in tow.
Suicide/Quisling: Give up. You have no real chance of survival with that kind of thinking. You're better off throwing yourself to the undead and saving the supplies.
Survivor: About a three in five chance of survival. You're making smart choices, and more than likely to hold out on your own or in small groups for a little while.

I wonder if acquiring...well...securing...a Super WalMart right away would be better...then you have access to food, medical supplies and a pharmacy, clothing, and guns and ammo, archery supplies, gas, tools, auto parts, propane...
And hope that you have enough people in your group to raid the nearest Lowes or Home Depot, all that glass across the front of the store would make me nervous. :flow2:
There's usually some sizeable panels of plate glass on either side of the entry doors. Our Wal-Mart has at least three different entries on the front of the bldg. alone.
Gotcha, I thought something more along the lines of the plate glass windows in front of some stores. The entryways could pose a problem, but with a few supplies from the Depot you could throw up a barriacade easy. Conveniently, the Super Wal-Mart, Mall, Home Depot, Dick's Sporting Goods (guns) and a few gas stations are all within a quarter mile of each other.

First steps in case of zombie attack. Raid the car dealership right by my house for a large truck or suburban. Raid the Wal-Mart for additional ammunition, possible weapons, and food supplies. Raid a gas station for fuel. Raid the radio shack for emergency electronic components. Raid the Home Depot for boards, building supplies, and generators. Barricade my house with the building supplies, create traps on the first floor with the supplies, take refuge on the third floor of the house, picking off zombies with my SKS.
