But I still don't trust those zombies...they'll turn on us in the end, mark my words...I see them eying our brains! And what if one of us Lycanthropes became infected? Can you imagine the damage a zombified werewolf would wreak!?
I regard this as good news (within the context of a gothic horror novel). The vampyres now have too much to loose by attacking the werewolves; the werewolves in turn have too much to loose if they attack anyone, risking the support of their new braineating buddies. That's less chance for war, more chance for peace, and that means time. When dealing with werewolves, time works in our favour, especially when the full moon wanes.
Sigh...I always wind up on the losing side! Us lycanthropes, like a bad case of PMS, are only good for causing havoc once a month...
It could be worse, much, much worse... Imagine Dr. Frankenstein's monster (a life reanimated from a patchwork of corpses) being bitten thrice. First by werewolf then vampire and finally zombie. If not for Chuck Norris such a creature would surely rule the world.
