Wait I think I know what he means. In the Army we had "cold weather" training and one of the symptoms of exposure was "ashy" complexion
for black people. But they never showed an example so I really never understood exactly what "ashy" was. I assume it means they get lighter.

Hey, ashy skin is from dead skin. White people have just as much dead skin, you just can't see it.

    RACIST THREAD. ;)

Does your car have a classy chassy?

Do you ride in your classy chassy with your gassy assy and your lassie, and your dog who vaguely resembles Lassie?

Your gassy assy in your classy chassy with your lassie and Lassie?

I assume ashy is just dry skin?

    Get that all the time.

Also, get feliculitis when I was in my early twenties. The Doc told me that 99% of the time it presented itself in blacks.

I think maybe there's something my great grandma isn't telling anyone....

    :jester:

I've never used any kind of skin lotion because I didn't like the "greasy" feel. I found some that works well, though, and doesn't feel greasy.

I get really dry skin in the winter. Once the furnace is running every day, I have to moisturize every night before bed or else contact with the sheets makes me itch like crazy.

The condition first presented when I was in my 20s. I didn't know what it was until I finally went to a dermatologist after about 1/4 of my body was covered with dry itchy patches. Super-lotion cleared it up, and now I just use a little lotion with aloe every day in the winter.

I could probably do that, too, but I don't. Mainly because my "dead cells" aren't as visible.

So, at the risk of sounding racist, gay, or both, that's probably why wrestling a black dude always felt different.
