Comments? Thoughts? Predictions? Hopefully this will be the end of Santorum. He's fast-marching into the social traps that are being laid by the Democrats faster than anyone out there at the moment. Maybe Romney will be smart enough to realize that all the contraception/women rights/abortion items that have magically become hot button issues are all crafted for a purpose.
I haven't voted yet. But among my family and friends it's amazing the level of apathy toward any of the candidates.
I gotta go when I get off and get back to Gawgia. According to the RCP polls, Gingrich has a huge +20 lead here. I still say it would have been fucking awesome to see Newt shread Obama in a debate. It would have been gloooooorius. No better way to illustrate what an empty suit He is. With Romney, it's just going to be two blowhard empty suits firing off talking points.
Is the main issue still one of the candidates calling someone a slut? And hasn't another of the candidates effectively bought the election?
That depends on whether you're asking the question of a parasite or someone who has to work for a living and is experiencing what this economy has become. Edit - your second question is too stupid to answer.
Hopefully that's the final nail in the Santorum coffin. Congrats to the people of North Dakota, Oklahoma and Tennessee. You need to start smacking your hyper bible thumpers around more.
FUCK! The days I hate being from Tennessee. Then again, I can't bitch too much. Car was in the shop so I had no ride to the polls and didn't vote.
Santorum won in TN and OK, and he's razor close close in Ohio. I think Ohio will eventually squeak into the Romney catagory but it will likely be so close there will be a mandatory recount.
no surprise at all in TN and OK (sadly) But what the fuck was Ohio thinking? THEY are supposed to be above this bullshit.
I though Super Tuesday used to be pretty much the entire South, but MS and AL aren't having our primaries until next week. Did they change things???
This state goes deep red the second you hit the city limits sign in Cincinnati, Columbus, and Cleveland. We've got lots of Evangelicals out here, and they don't take much of a shine to Romney because he's not one of them. They like Santorum because he's just batshit crazy enough to try and modify the Constitution with the Bible.
Gingrich is done. Romney won the day but didn't deliver a knock out blow. Santorum has several bible belt states and Oklahoma coming up where he figures to do well. But Romney has 2.5 as many delegates now, and has broader appeal than Santorum and wil likely win a closer than expected race.
I honestly don't know which way Alabama will go next Tuesday. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if it went to Santorum. I'll be voting for Ron Paul, because I have to be able to lay my head down on my pillow at night.
Traps? Letting someone express their opinions is a trap now? Because no one cares about womens rights other than during election time, right?
I believe everyone in my family voted for Ron Paul, and I know my family in Alabama will be doing the same next week.
You are an absolute goddamn idiot if you can't see that the recent spate of social issues being pushed hard by the Democrats is anything other than an election year ploy to goad social conservatives into losing moderate and female support. I understand you're dumb as a box of fucking rocks, but are you really this naive?
Um...yeah...and I bet when you watch "To Catch A Predator", you sniffle about what a monster Chris Hanson is huh?
You've just won the dumbest analogy of the year award. Also, a Red Forman dumbass award. Congrats, fatass.
So you honestly can't imagine any other reason for someone to be interested in womens rights? Fascinating.
You're the one throwing "ploys", and "traps", around. If I'm wrong, correct my logic with an argument. You know, actually show us what a not-a-dumbass you are.
Man, Super Tuesday just left Romney with a whole batch of new bruises. The guy just can't seem to pull away or even win a clear majority of the delegates. This primary season is going to keep going on for a while and it's very possible that no one will get enough delegates to even cinch the title. Romney couldn't even get all the delegates from Virginia when only two people (Romney & Paul) were on the ballot! Paul's actually got ~40% of the vote since he became something of a not Romney protest vote for people upset at how Virginia's rules are so titled only two people could get on the ballot.
