I Netflixed it over the last Holiday season. You know... It occurs to me that there are 2 episodes left. If for whatever reason they disappoint, I can alway view this last episode as the end. I wonder what Vince Gilligan has in store, but it's apparent to me that it's useless to speculate at this point.
Even if the final episodes are a comedown, this episode "Ozymandias" will stand as one of the most awesome culminations of a TV series ever.
I never watched the first four seasons of Breaking Bad. I heard the show as good, but I just wasn't that interested in it. Then when Hurricane Sandy hit and my wife and I had to stay at her parents for ten days with no TV, we still had wireless and started watching shows on Netflix. I decided to give Breaking Bad a chance since I heard so many good things about it. Admittedly the first couple of episodes didn't really resonate with me and I almost gave up, but we stuck through it and suddenly found ourselves totally engrossed in the lives of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. Before I knew it we had devoured all four seasons on Netflix, and since we had already missed the first half of season Five, I bought the episodes on iTunes just to keep the ball rolling. Now I'm watching the final half of the final season play out in real time with everyone else, and it's an incredible ride.

The final two are going to run a little longer. http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/28708/-breaking-bad-final-episodes-get-extended
[spoilers]It occurs to me that there are a fair number of people yet to be killed, or at least have their plot lines wrapped up. Someone is gonna get left out. They're very much leading us to expect a big gun fight, so I'm wondering if we'll see something else entirely. [/spoilers]
Well. DAMN! I guess in a way they are making us be able to LEGITIMATELY cheer for Walt by putting him up against people who are much more evil and hate-worthy than he is! Brilliant.
