This is not me worked up. I would describe what I do when worked up, but it would probably be considered threatening so I won't talk about that since i really do not have any real anger at anyone here. Fresh Rhubarb Pie

INGREDIENTS:
4 cups chopped rhubarb
1 1/3 cups white sugar
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon butter
1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust
pie

DIRECTIONS:
1.Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
2.Combine sugar and flour. Sprinkle 1/4 of it over pastry in pie plate. Heap rhubarb over this mixture. Sprinkle with remaining sugar and flour. Dot with small pieces of butter. Cover with top crust.
3.Place pie on lowest rack in oven. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and continue baking for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve warm or cold.

There hasn’t been a mass pile on, everyone hasn’t bandied together, and if you read some of the reactions to your OP, some people actually agreed with you.

This post of yours right here reads far too much of a stock answer, probably the same one that you have written on numerous boards before. Sadly, you are trying too hard to get the reaction you seek.

First you have to drop the "no rules in the Red Room" stupidity.

Then staff are not allowed to partake in squabbles and are especially not allowed to insult members.

Next the staff here is WAY too big for the forum size. It's mostly a club for the "cool" kids.

Then you start trying to bring in new members.

Then you make sure the old members realize they aren't special because they've been around longer and are dealt with swiftly when they try their "initiation" retardation.

Ok, reducing staff is possible, I am not sure how to define a contraversial thread nor do I think making existing posters post less would be a good idea, and I am unsure exactly how you props to attract new members. It seems a bit vague to me. It would be nice if posters were nicer to new folks but how do you force people to do that?

Thread tags might also help as it would result in more threads showing up in search engine results and thus we might get more new traffic some of which might stick around. The one problem is the tags can easily be abused by asshats.
