Perhaps wordforge should air itself out.

Hey, I tried to get more links out there on Twitter, but we saw how that went. :bailey:

I don't think we need to spam, necessarily. The point is that there is no real theme that someone would be searching for that would build up as a corpus in Google or other engines. Take a car forum, for example: enough content and enough inbound links, and the top search words are going to be related to the type of car people are most talking about. At WF, there's not really that focus.

Google's Webmaster Tools might have some ways to pick the best terms to advertise the board under, but current staff should know more than me about that.

The OP starts from an erroneous assumption -- that Wordforge is trying to be a service provider, like a restaurant or some other such place.

It's not. This is just where a bunch of people happen to hang out.

Forums as a whole are dying. Apart from here, I only post daily at one other board that doesn't allow for sigs. And there are very few people in RL that I would want knowing about this place.

Yep, and you were actually funny with it. The true master trolls never had to brag.

Tererun is the equivalent to the high school boy that's just discovered sex and thinks bragging to his buddies about the five minute hump in the back of his parents' SUV makes him a stud. :jayzus:

Hate to break it to ya, but nearly every thread that broke over 700 responses apart from the Treyonne Martin one? All drama threads.

There were more threads bitching about repwars in 2008 than there were threads on the election.

    Also, Dayton threads.

It's the price we pay for not having mods playing Nanny on our convosations. Yeah, I had hoped the thread you mentioned would get more traction, but I'm bitching that it didn't. I hope someone got something out of it, which is why I think we still post here.

I'm just noticing this dumb shit thread now.

My only response to the OP is that I actually prefer Whoppers to Quarter Pounders. The whole premise is flawed.

Whoppers are good, but it's the mayo they pour on it that pushes me away. I'm happy with BK's cheeseburgers, really. They're simple, they taste good, and with fries they're unbeatable.

I remember BK had something they advertised as an Angry Whopper and their advertising had lots of fire and chili peppers implying this Angry Whopper was some how hot and spicy.

Talk about false advertising. There wasn't anything spicy about that burger. They added the slightest of slight amount of red pepper to the mayo, so little regular people couldn't taste it, and they claimed that was a spicy angry whopper. WTF? What sort of cracker ass, white fucker, from the Midwest thinks that is spicy? I think my average shit would be spicier than that.

The only Angry Whopper I remember had a shit ton of jalapeños and fried onions, but no spicy mayo. Maybe that one came out at some point when I was in Japan, but yeah, that doesn't sound spicy at all.

I've entirely lost my taste for BK anyway since being overseas. I had some back in August, and it was pretty meh.

Yeah, Angry Whopper around here had spicy mayo, cheddar jack cheese and a half dozen grilled jalapenos w/some onions.

Nothing to write home about, but when I was working down in Tukwila (the suburbs) it was a decent option.

The Viennese can be a little strange for anyone who wasn't born here. It's a great city and all but a few aspects of native vienna-ness will stay forever concealed for outsiders, no matter how long they live here.

One such example is eating horse meat. They just love it.

I think I might have to dig up a few pony recipes to enjoy for everyone.
