How do you know the small species Dayton wants to wipe out in service of his invisible sky man isn't the most intelligent lifeform on the planet?

Even if it isn't, I'm guessing it could take Dayton in a battle of wits.

Except for the fact that nothing has been said about intelligent life. The only type of life specified was pond scum.

So unless you and the others here consider draining a swamp to be "genocide"..............

From Ender's Game? I assume you know that referred to an intelligent species. Something I've never advocating eliminating.

I assume humans would never be colonizing a planet that already had an intelligent species living there.

How do you know any life we encounter on other worlds, even pond scum, isn't intelligent? What if they are so different from us that we fail to see their intelligence? What if they don't want to reveal themselves to us?

I'm certain by the time it becomes an issue we'll have means of testing for intelligence.

We are talking about hundreds of years in the future are we not?

As far as I know God takes no position on manned or unmanned space exploration and colonization.

Even Trek didn't have that, or that business with the Horta would've been over real quick.
