Faceman seems to disagree with you a few posts up about such laws existing.

Isn't he some kind of lawyer?

Not a criminal. Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law shootER. If you don't understand that and don't want me to explain it then perhaps El Chup or someone else can explain it to you.

He's talking about a law that says if you get in a wreck and the cars are driveable, you need to get out of traffic, and call the police.

@Dayton3 is implying that the Arkansas version has enough wiggle room to allow him to legally flee the scene of a crime...yet he can't provide a link to back it up.

It has been mine. A few years prior to this (mid 1990s) I backed into a guys car at a gas station and tore a huge hole in the front right side of his vehicle.

We exchanged insurance information but he insisted on calling the police. Police officer got there and lit into him for calling for no reason.

Same thing happened in 2010 when I was moving back to Norphlet and I scraped a guys door at a gas station while refueling my moving van.

You didn't, you interpreted it incorrectly, either purposely, or out of ignorance.

Arkansas State Law makes it very clear that yes, you are supposed to remain there.

    And here's 27-53-103

So yeah, you taking off was a cowardly act.

Leaving the scene of an accident is a criminal offence in Arkansas Dayton.

Took me two seconds to Google it. You really think you need expert evidence to determine whether or not you drove away? You already admitted up thread you idiot.

Sorry, but I don't believe you. I can't believe that a cop would get mad at someone for calling the police after someone ripped a "huge hole" in his car.

Oh well too long ago to matter anyway.

Still glad I didn't stick around and waste time with negligible damage.

I didn't whine about the scratches on my bumper.

Incorrect. I have a perfectly clean driving record. No accidents. No moving violations.

Remember I've driven a school bus for six years or more.

Are you suggesting guilt or innocence can be determined without a trial or finding by a judge?

No offense but is that a feature of the British legal system?

Of course I'm not suggesting that a conviction can happen without due process. What I'm suggesting Dayton is that for some crimes you don't need to wait for the court to convict to know it's a crime. If, for instance, you pirate a movie, are you unsure whether or not it's a crime before a court tells you? Plus you admitted it.

You literally just admitted, in this thread, to being involved in two accidents caused by you. You're a shitty driver regardless of what your official record omits.

And you have once again admitted to committing another crime, which makes you a shitty career criminal.

It's a wonder the children survived being driven by a criminal and a shitty driver.

No, it's not too long ago to matter, because it's a perfect demonstration of what kind of person you are. Every time I think you couldn't be worse, you prove once again that you are probably the most despicable person I've ever come across.

You don't know much about bus driving do you "Chad"?

School bus drivers are fully expected to get dings in buses all the time due to the difficulties in maneuvering such a large vehicle down narrow streets and sharp turns characteristic of school bus routes.

When I took my school bus driving test, the guy taking it before me took out three stop signs during his test and the instructor still passed him with the humorous comment "You really aren't used to driving such a big bus are you?"

    That is pretty harsh.

What's the big deal. No harm no foul. My position about people making way too big a deal about scratches and dings to their vehicles has been one I've had a long time and repeatedly stated here and elsewhere.

He'd probably have manhandled the other driver into a choke-hold if he'd stayed at the scene, so probably a good thing he fleed the scene of his crime.

He should definitely turn himself in though.
