If people show me respect, courtesy or deference I will show them respect regardless of how I view them. Does that answer your question?

I think the idea that Dayton must respect someone who calls him a Nazi laughable. I don't think Dayton intrinsically deserves respect, however. I would describe respect as a rebuttable presumption. And I think Daytons worked hard to rebut that.
