Just got done listening to the Theodore Shapiro score. Damn! Awesome. Love it. Wow. And I say that as an avowed worshiper of the Elmer Bernstein score. The scary songs are full on horror movie, the action songs are Avengers-y, the sad songs rip your heart out, there's some sprinkles of Elfman in there without his excesses, and the "dada, dada, dada, dada, diddle-uh dada!!", of the Ghostbusters song creeps in there on just a couple tracks just when you want/need it most. The little bits in the latest trailers with action-y bits were actually the medium parts before the tracks in the third act REALLY kick in to full gear. Many is the time it escalated even higher than I thought the high point was, and I said aloud "wow, they aren't fucking around! Playtime is over!", as I tried to imagine the scenes that go with this. I'm even more pumped. I'm all in. 100%. I was at 97% with teensy bits of reservation, but nope, I'm in.
So. Yeah. Movie premieres in less than a week. Usually you'd start seeing reviews this weekend. Except on shitty, terrible movies. Like Batman -vs- Superman *WITH* Wonder Woman *and* Aquaman (snicker), Flash, cyborg (double snicker) AGAINST Lex Luthor, Doomsday, Zombie General Zod, Darkseid, AND A moose once bit my sister: Dong of Justice. It looks like we won't be seeing any reviews on this one until after they've suckered in the suckers. http://www.techtimes.com/articles/1...sters-reviews-embargoed-until-opening-day.htm
Yeah. There's being supportive of a project, and then there's acting like an obsequious paid shill. His objectivity has gone totally out of the window. I listened to some of that score. It was a run of the mill score, nothing more. It was hardly John Williams.
It should be noted that Oswalts wife was involved in the production. So it's hardly surprising that he's supportive of the film. Even if it's good or bad. Spoilers ahead. There's currently a review embargo until Sunday. That's never a good sign. However some people who've seen early screenings are saying the movie ends with the female ghostbusters blasting the final boss ghost in the dick to kill it. That's the level of humor this film went full bore with.
CBR likes it. http://spinoff.comicbookresources.com/2016/07/10/review-sorry-haters-but-ghostbusters-is-great/
Yep, and 9/11 was an inside job, and the moon landing was faked, and the Illuminati hide messages in Family Guy.
Prove it happening once. I heard this shit after BvS, that Marvel was bribing people to hate it. As much as I liked that film, and wished it had hit harder, it was a bunch of tinfoil hat swill then, and it is now.
And he was caught. And he was a fake critic. I've posted reviews from established critics. Sorry, this is pathetic on FF's part, and you know it. Don't help him.
You asked for an example of it happening once. You have it. I've no idea if Sony's doing it this time, and I don't care, but to claim its impossible is clearly wrong.
Impossible? No. Impossible to get away with, so not worth doing? Fuck yeah. Especially on the scale FF wants it to be to rescue his pride.
This proves that it's not tinfoil hat territory in a similar vein as 9/11 conspiracies. It's totally within the realm of possibility and I wouldn't put it past Sony or any other studio to do the same.
You asked for an example, you were presented one and now I'm a loony conspiracy theorist even though you were proven wrong. Who's the delusional one here? Your obsession with this movie has really gone off the deep end. Have you invested so much in this movie that it's impossible to conceive that it just might be as shitty as it looks?
Sure, but multiple reviews? I doubt that very much, especially when it's so much easier to get caught now.
