Fuck you, asshole. You asked for a fucking example, you were proven wrong. Grow up and except it, fuck wad.
More rolling in. All middle to decent. So much for "this will be a dumpster fire!", or any of that lame horseshit. http://spinoff.comicbookresources.com/2016/07/10/ghostbusters-what-the-critics-are-saying/ All nitpick that the fan-service got to be a bit much. The lesson learned, Sony, fuck the haters.
As of the second of this posting, 71% at Rotten Tomatoes. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/ghostbusters_2016/
Yeah, actually. Studios have been caught "bribing" critics with gifts, and giving deferential treatment to critics who praise a film, no matter how big of a dog it is, as well as snipping misleading quotes from negative reviews. (For example, a review contains the line, "If you like hitting yourself in the head with a hammer, you'll love this movie!" ends up being quoted in advertising for the film as, "You'll love this movie!") I believe that there's another fake critic out there that a different studio got caught using, but because they did an immediate mea culpa, they didn't get the kind of negative publicity. I don't know, it is, after all, easier to get caught doing a lot of things these days, but people still do them.
Nope you're just a conspiracy nut because it's impossible that someone could actually not like this movie.
I don't really have an opinion on this film, one way or the other, and I generally don't pay too much attention to critics.
Let's see, movies I've been anticipating BvS- good, better with ultimate edition CA:CW- excellent X-Men: Apocalypse- pretty good Jurrasic World- pretty good TFA- great Dead pool - great Star Trek Beyond- not out yet ID 2- haven't seen it, horrible reviews Rogue One- not out yet Suicide Squad- not out yet Dr. strange- not out yet Ant-Man- skeptical, but great
Hey, look back at this thread from the beginning. You'll see that I've not bagged on the film to any extent. The closest I've come is this: That's nothing compared to what many others in this thread have said.
Variety, Vanity Fair and The Hollywood Reporter all says it's shit. Still, I am going to wait and see how it fares with the general audience. If feedback is good, I will go see it (or at least watch it when it's available for download), despite my reservations over Feig and McCarthy.
Dicky, you're the only one who has been hell bent on trying to prove himself over this film, despite all the shit you threw at me.
Plenty of people won't liike this movie. Nobody expects otherwise. I could care less about that, and may even not like it myself. But I won't reject it just because some people happen to have a different vision for a new Ghostbusters. So far, it looks like it should be enjoyable enough, so I don't expect to waste my ticket money.
Seeking out the opinions from average people seems to be the only way to get an accurate review these days. Professional reviewers simply can't be trusted. Since they are pressured or are on the take to provide positive reviews on everything from movies, videogames, to even Amazon product reviews. It's just part of a companies marketing strategy in this era. Doesn't matter if the actual product is good or bad.
Fuck reviewers anyway, and fuck arguing with folk about it. All that matters is if YOU enjoyed the episode/movie/comic/game/prostitute/whatever.
I completely agree! And thanks for saying so. I was concerned you might be wrongly prioritising whether you or someone else enjoyed it.
Amy Pascal says the Ghostbusters franchise will be endless. http://spinoff.comicbookresources.c...ise-will-be-endless-says-producer-amy-pascal/
Even if you want to wank off to the mixed reviews for this movie. It has to properly resonate with the public to produce a franchise. Do you think it will?
Dude, I feel your need to defend this from the Butthurt Bridgaye, but you realize she was part of the reason why Sony was fucked up a couple years back? I mean, she greenlighted "Aloha," FFS.
