High ground? There is no high ground in political discourse in this country.
Obama was hung in effigy and much much worse, GWB was derided as, at once, a simpleton and a devious warmongering mastermind, Clinton was both a vast crime family and an amoral letcher, GHWB didn't get much mockery but Reagan sure as fuck did.

We've had the rabble for a while now, the internet has just given them a megaphone

Also, the principle of a free people having the right to petition their governance for a redress of grievances is a FAR more sacred principle than the one that goes "I have a right to see a show without worrying about hearing a political message I might disagree with"

welp, he made it just past two and a half minutes before denying the blindingly obvious so whatever else he might be saying would be the equivilant of me listening to Stevie Wonder describe his favorite color.

$5 might seem like a lot of money to you. But I could wipe my ass with it if the texture was better. It's probably been...30 years since $5 was a lot of money to me. In a world where it costs $75 to go to the movie theater, $5 to make a Gender Studies PhD hate itself is a bargain.

It's not just one $5 to Starbucks and what you probably don't realize is that the barista doesn't give a fuck about saying "Trump" because either s/he already likes him, or s/he says "Fuck Trump" at least hourly.

But the fact remains, whiny ass crybaby snowflake Trumpets are so shallow and immature that the take great satisfaction in "making" someone say a word. It's like FailTroll jumped off the internet and went for a walk in the city.

How the cast of Hamilton treated Hillary.

Gee. They didn't try to speak truth to power or anything. Just mindless sycophants of the couple who gave us Don't Ask Don't Tell and passed laws against "superpredators" that put millions of black people behind bars.

Was Hilary still pushing gays into the closet or blaming black kids for all of society's problems in this election?

I would've preferred an apology for both things, but one of these things is way worse than the other.

The demagogic genius of Donald J. Trump

The author buys in to all the crazy things the press says about Trump, but does admit that he's an intuitive genius at politics.

    Radar online, for one.

...records obtained by Radar show that some of the cast haven’t voted in national elections in 10 years – if at all!

Dixon, who lectured Pence, didn't even vote for Obama.

Out of morbid curiosity, are you going to spin some elaborate rationalization for how that justifies the soon-to-be Toddler-in-Chief being so thin-skinned and hypersensitive that he flips out on Twitter over a Broadway actor daring to address his VP, or is just more dodging and misdirection?

Why are you channeling some obscure Canadian comedienne with the whole "toddler" BS?

You obviously skipped the article "Trump is an intuitive political genius". His "melt-down" was brilliant in what it accomplished.

No, he's acting like a political genius. In a couple of tweets he completely changed the direction the press was taking, changed their coverage for days, changed the national conversation, and reinforced his support for any coming battles with entrenched GOP insiders.

Sorry - not believing none of the cast didn't vote. Aren't they gay/minority and have the most to lose if Hillary didn't get elected? So why wouldn't they vote? Isn't Hillary their savior, who can protect them from the nazi hillbiillies?

Actually, this election had a low turnout across the board. Trump won while getting fewer votes than Romney got in 2012.

In the end it is their venue and their performances. I am sure they felt extremely threatened by pense becoming vp, and that y are right to feel that way. I am just getting annoyed with how this election has creeper into places it should not be. When i go to my bubbles I want to forget about the rest of the world until I have to go back to it.

This story is simple. Instead of taking their bows and wishing the audience well, arrogant thespians attempted to lecture a prominent audience member because he had differing political views. These condescending pricks thought they were entitled to do so by virtue of the fact that they sing & dance. So does Justin Bieber, does that mean he gets to lecture Trump? I guess he could, but that's definitely not why the tweens are paying to see his shows.
