Like the snow in the song "It shows no signs of stopping" and if anything seems to have even grown since the election.

But I don't see how it can last four years or even two years. So when can we look for it to finally start dying down?
Perhaps after a year after all the Trump nominees have been confirmed and the sky hasn't fallen.

When he stops threatening liberty and equality, and starts acting like a real president.

    Until then, buckle up, buckeroo.

He is doing what nearly half of American voters wanted him to do.

How is that not "acting like a real president"?

I never criticized President Obama like this. I simply pointed out he was a "novelty president".

    Which he was.

I think he's doing what half of GOP voters wanted him to do. Maybe less.

What hysteria? Activist conservative judges ruling against him?

    :wtf:

Half my facebook feed is my liberal friends tearing their hair out wishing he was dead, urging him to step down for the good of the country, wondering "how long he'll last" whatever that means, criticising everything he does or says, and shrieking that he's a racist misogynist fascist. Another quarter of my feed is articles about celebrities doing the same. The last quarter, thank god, is about cats and model spaceships.

Oh I see. So You made racists statements about Obama for eight years but liberals criticizing Trumps policies for the last two weeks is just too far. Dayton-land sounds like a bizarre and IQ decreasing place.

I hope it lasts long enough for the country to be so disgusted by it that in 2018 the Republicans pick up 8 seats in the Senate and have an unstoppable 60 seat majority.

    AND

The Republicans pick up control of 6 more states. This will give the movement that is working on Article 5 Convention not only the ability to call for a convention but pass any amendments.

Terms limits for those fuckers in DC would be awesome as a starter.

Wait. Republicans take super majority control of congress and the first thing they do is call for term limits on themselves? That's your fantasy?

NO. Of course those fuckers in DC would never do that. They would never limit themselves.

Plus 60 is not a 2/3rds majority. Nor do the Republicans have 2/3's the vote in the House to send an amendment to the states.

But the states? There are enough out there that do want term limits for Senators and House Representatives that if an amendment was out there they would vote for it.

You need 33 states to call for an Article 5 Convention which side-steps Congress. Than you need 38 states to ratify any amendment. That's how we will get a Congressional Term Limit amendment into the Constitution.

You will no longer have people like Mitch McConnell or Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi or any of them who never leave short of death.

Well, Trump is a delusional, egotistical fool, so I suppose the anti-Trump hysteria is well-placed.

But, the bitching and moaning will get old if that is all it will ever be.

He doesn't need to propose anything. You can see whats taking place. Protests throughout the country. Reversals by judges. One example was the Attorney Generals action. There are others but don't act like you don't know whats going on. because if you asked me that question I wouldn't have an answer. Not deep into it like that. But I will side with the actions I agree with.
