I can see it winning some of the technical awards, and maybe even some of the major ones like best sound editing, visual effects, or soundtrack.
I don't think it's going to reach BvS's worldwide total, but WW keeps chuggin' along and is within about 10% of it.

Patty Jenkins is finally finalizing her deal for Wonder Woman 2. She's about to become the highest paid female director in Hollywood. http://www.darkhorizons.com/jenkins-in-final-talks-for-wonder-woman-2/
If it can just make another 4 million, it'll pass Civil War, and if it can do 5 million, it gets in the top 5 with Dark Knight, Dark Knight Rises, Avengers, and Avengers Age Of Ultron. http://www.cbr.com/wonder-woman-passes-800-million-worldwide-box-office/
Okay, even with a legit source reporting it, I'm having trouble believing it. Martin Scorsese is producing a Joker prequel movie for the DCEU. http://www.cbr.com/joker-movie-martin-scorsese/
'Batman' Director Matt Reeves Says Film NOT Part of the DCEU I'm ambivalent about this. On the one hand, it may make for a better film. On the other, it fragments the DCEU. I think, if they're going to do this, they SHOULDN'T use Affleck, even though I like his Batman. A non-DCEU Batman film, a (presumably) non-DCEU Joker film...who's running the strategy (if it can be called one) for the DCEU? It's starting to seem like there's no coherent plan. Edit: it's possible that Reeves means that the film doesn't connect strongly to the greater DCEU, not that it's necessarily a separate world.
I know, they JUST got the DCEU running on all cylinders with Wonder Woman, and JL looks good, now they want to fray it apart like string cheese at the nearest opportunity. WB spooks too easily. All those Flash directors they lost left trauma scars, or something.
Song List for 'Justice League' Hints at a Seventh Team Member Remember the early posters that said "Unite the Seven?" There's a song with that name in the film. Based on the reference in the last trailer, I'm guessing
ditto re Afflack. If this is true though, Id really be down with something that looks a lot like "Year One" or that "Earth One" take from more recently
I'll add, if they're going to keep the DCEU, and make these standalone elseworld flicks a separate concurrent series like the Star Wars Anthologies, then I don't mind, and think it could be brilliant if it brings in hot talent that felt handcuffed by the DCEU.
Now they say they're developing a Harley Quinn and Joker movie with Margot Robbie and Jared Leto. Well, is this on top of Suicide Squad 2, and Gotham City Sirens, or instead of Gotham City Sirens?? WTF is going on at Warners??? Get. Your. SHIT. Together!!!!
I don't know. Considering their track record so far, giving up on a DCEU and making stand-alones instead might not be the worst way for DC to go. BvS was bad in many, many ways, but one of them clearly was the mass of continuity-oriented inserts that had no connection to the plot. WW, the best one so far, isn't good in any way that specifically connects it to other movies. And doesn't a continuity-less Scorcese-Batfleck sound better than another BvS?
No official confirmation, but it looks like Joker/Harley replaces Gotham City Sirens. GCS was conspicuously absent from the release list at Comic-Con. Damn, I was excited to see who the new Catwoman and Poison Ivy were gonna be.
Yeah, I'd rather see GCS since I can't stand Leto's Joker. This is the worst joker since the animated one with Fred locks.
Now Suicide Squad is being fast-tracked. http://www.cbr.com/suicide-squad-2-fast-tracked/ So, the list of movies they're actually in some sort of production on is Justice League, Aquaman, Shazam, and Suicide Squad 2. Everything else is smoke.
