At some point there will be a "last straw"incident and you'll see a movement to repeal the Second Amendment. It will likely go along the lines of the Prohibition movement. Eventually the control people will get their way and the Second will be repealed. This will lead to massive violence as millions of gun owners resist having their liberties infringed. But the resistive violence itself will drive further changes, and the First Amendment is likely to be an early casualty, as it's a very short step from "no guns" to "no talking about guns." Once the populace has been sufficiently muzzled and disarmed, the other Constitutionally-protected rights we have will vanish in a puff of smoke.

Then you'll all be safe. Big Momma Government will be in charge of your whole life and you'll all be happy.
