If this is normalised to the extent that American kids think it's a likelihood it also means that for many young Americans the idea of going into a school and shooting it up is also becoming ore and more normalised. This, in turn, comes from the fact that carrying around high powered weapons is normalised.

It's all kinds of fucked up and I don't envy you Americans with young kids growing up in a society that has such a deep rooted problem.

The only -- only -- positive thing I can see about her comment is that the more this shit happens to the millennials, the more they are going to grow up (at least the ones who survive) and question the gun culture that exists in America.
