Definitely post-TNG era. Here's a holodeck. I didn't post it before, because...well, it's just a holodeck.
Corridors look VOY-like. Badge is lacking the side bits of either the TNG or movie-era, but the new white stripe could be covering them. Is the doc meant to be a Caitian?! And is grumpy cat!!
@Diacanu, No, the cat very clearly resembles Little Avocato from Final Space, the best animated sci-fi series to come along in over a decade. Final Space also has one of the top ten death scenes of all time in animation. SPOILER: DON'T CLICK IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE SHOW. Every time I watch that scene I tear up a little.
Surprised you haven't already had an aneurysm from the fact there's only two white guys out of eight characters shown.
Hmm, Lower Decks but they're still all ensigns. Woulda been nice to have some enlisted types in the mix.
Is it just me or does this look like ST: Teen Titans Go? I am just waiting for the first episode where cyborg screams the klingon ship's power level is over 9000. Really, could we get some better animation than rick and morty rejects? Oh well, here is hoping the replicators have the correct formula for McDonald's sechuan sauce.
Its already grown on me. If Batman can be a Lego mini-fig, and Peter and Egon can be Playmobil, Trek can be this. As long as the characters are lovable, and the jokes land.
Tawny Newsome (Ensign Beckett Mariner) Jack Quaid (Ensign Brad Boimler) Noël Wells (Ensign Tendi) Eugene Cordero (Ensign Rutherford) Dawnn Lewis (Captain Carol Freeman) Jerry O’Connell (Commander Jack Ransom) Fred Tatasciore (Lieutenant Shaxs) Gillian Vigman (Doctor T’Ana) Thought - Rutherford doesn't have a first name (or at least we haven't been told it yet like the others which is unusual as he's clearly not an alien), so given that head-widget could be a cybernetic implant, could he be 1) a cyborg like Airiam (just more fleshy) or 2) a former Borg Drone who can only remember which ship he was assimilated on (the USS Rutherford)?
