It's worth pointing out that the kid is 18 for one and per one source I read, not even from the United States. He didn't grow up here and probably may not be aware of what his public hug was getting criticized. I've even heard a few people suggest he was literally retarded (and not in the "everyone I hate is stupider than me" way Dinner throws out) or possibly getting paid to set Guyger up for parole. That said, I dunno why the judge and balliff jumped in. I think it's absolutely valid to ask if the judge ever gave hugs or patted the hair of any black folks she sent to prison for far less.

Joshua Brown died at the hospital after Friday night's shooting in the 4600 block of Cedar Springs Road.

A key witness in Amber Guyger's murder trial was shot and killed Friday evening at an apartment complex near Dallas' Medical District, authorities said.

Joshua Brown, a neighbor of Botham Jean's and Guyger at the South Side Flats apartments, was slain about 10:30 p.m. in the 4600 block of Cedar Springs Road.

Brown, 28, lived across the hall from Jean and testified about the night he was killed.

Dallas County prosecutor Jason Hermus, the lead prosecutor in the Guyger case, said Saturday that Brown stood up at a time when others won't say what they know.

"He bravely came forward to testify when others wouldn't, " Hermus said. "If we had more people like him, we would have a better world."

On Friday night, several witnesses flagged down police and directed them to Brown's location. Police found him on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Witnesses told police they heard several gunshots and saw a silver four-door sedan speeding out of the parking lot.

No suspect description had been released.

It was a dumb move but he is not dead yet, I imagine, so I suppose it all worked out and he probably ceased the dumber of his activities.

The very real convenient suicides by gunshot in the back of the head is partly why black folks outside the West Coast believe Nipsey Hussle had a hit out and the two guys who did it got paid. Naw, gun violence just be random like that in the LBC still.

Brown was almost killed. The killer waited for Brown to leave the club and fought him in the parking lot. When Brown and his friend tried to leave that's when the shooting started. Brown was hit in the foot and his friend was killed.

Guess where the killer from that Nov 2018 incident was on the night of Joshua Brown's death a couple days ago?

It wasn't in jail. He was and still is out on bond.

How is one way people try to beat a murder charge? They kill the witnesses that survived the first time around.

The argument that people don't drive four hours for drugs is stupid.

#1 We don't know what else was involved with the deal. The guys took off after killing Brown. They may have taken whatever else was part of the deal and gotten rid of it. One guy is still at large.

#2 Criminals aren't the brightest. To say they wouldn't drive four hours to make a big drug deal is stupid.

#3 They found 12 lbs of weed in Browns apartment. Assuming he was only selling weed to his killers how do we know he wasn't selling 12 lbs or more to them? It's plausible they wouldn't drive four hours for a few ounces of weeds but if you're buying pounds of it than why wouldn't you make the drive? If you're selling it you're going to be making profits enough to cover the cost of the trip.

The police know what happened because there is no doubt in my mind that Jacquerious Mitchell who was shot by Brown spilled the beans to the police while in the hospital. That's why they know who they are looking for. They caught the second guy and the third one will be nabbed eventually.

I thought these were guys looking to score a hit so for that purpose originally.

That said, why would he show his face on national television if he was dealing that much? Why wouldn't the prosecution have dug into his past to discredit him? That's not the type of thing to.let slide in a cop murder trial, I would think.
