I mean, that's it. Full stop. I don't get where "evangelicals" get some other idea. Well, I do, it's because they haven't bothered to read the book... :marathon:

Good, maybe in the remaining time of power he has he will take it seriously now.

If he has mild symptoms and no aftereffects, he'll go back to yammering about how it's "like a mild flu."

If he recovers and has long-term sequelae - a heart murmur, respiratory distress, neurological symptoms, etc. - he'll be humbled... for about five minutes. Then he'll be pushed around in his wheelchair like a friggin' pasha and go back to yammering about the "Chinese virus."

I know two Pharmacists extremely well. One is just retired after 45 years on the job. The other finished her PharmD about ten years ago. Both of them said there was no way they'd take one of these vaccines on a dare. That it's been to quick and not enough testing. :(

But this is exactly the kind of thing Donnie-boy has been touting all along - something quick and dirty that he believes will magically make the virus go away. At least this might be safer than drinking bleach.

    I don't agree.
He's the head of a personality cult.
Only way to break a personality cult is either the death or humiliation of the head personality.
The scandals aren't touching him in the humiliation department.
    Guess what that leaves?

Like I said in an earlier post, the cult won't transfer over to Pence.
It's not about ideology, it's about Trump.
The other party zombies can't tap into whatever button Trump pushes for aggrieved racists.
Even McConnell, he's Machiavellian as fuck, but he's got the personality of a soiled condom, and he knows it.
    Trump croaks, MAGA is over.

So we don't know the date he last tested negative - we know he didn't take a test before the debate on Wednesday.

This is why they are worried - it may be more advanced. It sure looks like the Rose Garden ceremony was the spreader event - unless Trump was the one who came there with it...

I wouldn't be surprised at all if he didn't take regular tests like they claim he did.

Trump dying would definitely be good for the country, as it largely circumvents the cult of personality that could be used to attack democracy. And let's face it, as bad as Pence might be, there's no indication he's actually insane, like Trump.

However, Trump dying might be good for the GOP, as they'd get a martyr (to his own stupidity, still) and a lot of the Never Trumpers would step away from Biden.

For Trump losing the election would be humiliation enough, and if he's gonna win well you have big enough problems that Trump himself not being around won't help.

Wouldn't it be amazing if enough Republican senators got sick to quash the chances of ramming through Trump's SCOTUS pick? It's an ill wind, indeed that blows nae good...

Donnie-boy's death would just make him a martyr among the Faithful, a la David Koresh. (Hi, Storm!) His cult would only grow. Mar-a-Lago would become a shrine, a cross between Graceland and Lourdes, complete with gift shop.

If enough GOP Senators test positive, it's a sure sign that God doesn't want Amy Coney Barrett on the SC. :bergman:

And WaPo says there's a lot of frustration among the Secret Service. It seems they stopped testing agents coming back from Trump rallies back in early August, and there's open discussions that the President doesn't care about their wellbeing.

I'm thinking the deluded one has just stopped testing - and that has a small but real chance of killing him now.

Nope. If he loses, it's because of Biden cheating. Just like how he only lost the popular vote in 2016 because millions of illegals voted, and massive fraud by crooked Hillary.

I seriously expect him to attempt to paint himself as the victim of an illegal coup if he's forced to leave office on his feet.

I am wondering, for either of the doddering old fools, what happens if the candidate dies after the primary decision and the ballots are printed, and before the election? Do they just run with the VP? That would seem to be somewhat wrong considering people did not vote for the VP. Then again, the party could not change their candidate in time. I have to admit I am not familiar with what exactly would happen.

I never have liked the guy, going all the way back to the 80s when he first really became known nationally.

Total bully who's never been given the treatment that bullies need to receive. :goldeneye:

This tells exactly how he became what he is and, spoiler: he's got mama issues.
