he's got a couple of good appearances and possibly one of the best easter eggs of the series it's Hondo that I really wanna see. Probably saving him for the Ahsoka series
And as usual, fans do a better job with Cad Bane. https://screenrant.com/star-wars-cad-bane-live-action-design-fix/
I dunno... I like the deeper colour, but then my head canon started to wonder if his skin lightened as he aged? He is pushing 70, after all.
I thought his mouth looked weird because he's supposed to basically look like an alien Eastwood, the jaw should be more angular.
One thing about the last episode, it might have been just me, but when Cad Bane appears, thought I could hear a resemblance to the music fromThe Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. But then, Cad Bane was modeled after Angels Eyes from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
That's just fucking stupid. He's fine the way he looks. And sci-fi fans wonder why they get a bad rap.
His leading performance in Once Were Warriors in the mid 90's was unforgettable. The Hollywood stuff has been a bit so-so. But local productions he's knocked it out of the park more than once. I had hoped they'd give him something more to work with in this series. Boba needs to own the next episode - I need more than a Mortal Kombat "Toasty!" moment. Otherwise, well - maybe they shouldn't have named the show after Boba Fett? (disclaimer: fucking loved the last two episodes)
I'd kinda hoped they would've used the more age accurate Daniel Logan... better to be six years younger than 20 years older than the character should be.
yea, guy on the left definitely looks more convincing and just his age would have brought a bit more excitement to the role. I like Temura Morrison, but he's too old to be playing Boba crawling out of the scaracc pit. As well s putting him on "common ground" with Din Djarin.
I'd love to see Hondo. But .. I think they played him out in Rebels. He's more of a joke now and they have Bill Burr to play the accidentally successful pirate.
Not gonna lie, a little let down with the finale. All the setting up of characters seemed skimmed through, while others were wasted entirely. Amy Sedaris is about the best part.
I liked it a lot. We knew going in, it was only going to be 7 episodes. Not a lot time for setting up characters, then following through. We'll see them all again in Mandalorian episodes or Rangers of the New Republic. Loved the last scene. and I may be the only but and
heh... wonder who that is... although I guess it kills my theory she was the magistrate in "The Jedi" ep. :/
I thought it came together pretty well. And as someone who is rarely interested in action scenes, I found the the sequence fighting the scorpenek droids pretty thrilling. Also, gonk droid for the win. But...
Damn... Robert Rodriguez really pulled it off. I was disappointed that one thing did not happen. And nice follow up on one of the extended flashbacks of Boba. Overall I really enjoyed this episode, I thought it was a great ending and the previous two episodes did add to the closing of the first season of Book of Boba Fett.
