I love the notion that because Rogan has so consistently provided a platform for bullshit we should just presume that there's a nugget or three worth hearing and supporting.

If you do your job competently for five minutes a month, but are a complete fuckknuckle the other 160 or so hours, should you keep it?

No effort to prove those proportions, of course. It just makes you feel righteous to assume it. One guest says something to trigger you, and it's "We have to, like, hate him forEVAR, Stacey."

You're not discerning idealists. You're a bunch of mean girls in a high school lunch room.

You're the fucking idiot who said personal anecdotes trump actual statistics.

Watch Rachel Maddow, or you're a mean girl!
    Doesn't that sound stupid?

They are more useful and credible to than stats thay can be massaged for an agenda, yes.

A valid comparison would be any of you bullshitters actually watching an episode, rather than letting some blue checkmark douchenozzle on Twitter tell you what to think.

I listened to him for 3 years in the 10's because Neil DeGrasse Tyson vouched for him.
I went through his whole fucking episode backlog.
Except the Joey Diaz ones, because Joey Diaz is boring and sucks.
But I still ate through half of them before I admitted it to myself.
    I've sampled the wares.
    Go fuck yourself.

Anyway, as someone who subjected myself to the torture, avoid Rogan.
Like, unless someone you really, really, REALLY like is a guest, and then watch that episode.
    But then move on.
Don't waste years like I did.

He used to have the Bad Astronomy guy on using light reflection science to show that the moon landing photos are real.
Rogan acted like he was converted, but he went right back to the conspiracy shit.
Listening to people talk to a brick wall isn't fun.
If you want Bad Astronomy, go to HIS podcast.
If you want Neil Tyson, go to HIS podcast.
    You don't need fucking Rogan.
This isn't like the old timey 3-channel TV days where if you're not on Carson or Donahue, you're nobody.
    Everyone has a fucking podcast.
You can go right to the people you wanna see.

I wasn't aware those "proportions" were going to be debated as accurate rather than a minor ab absurdum.

perhaps the reason us lefties come across to you as humourless twats is because whenever we make (obvious) light of something there's some neo con idjit (like you) who'll start screaming for a source.

It's not 10g worth of shit. It's one or two comments or guests that triggered you, and we now live in an age where offending someone once forfeits your right to exist in any visible manner for some diseased cause heads. Almost forgivable for dumbass teenagers, but I expect more nuance from grown ass adults.

I just gave you an example of a guest I actually liked, but didn't like how he was disregarded.
How is that being triggered by a guest?
It's the fucking opposite, you lying burlap sack of hog shit.
This is why people say you argue in bad faith. Because you fucking do.

You didn't "recommend" anything, either. That's the problem with trying to leave yourself wiggle room by only trading in vague, dissembling bullshit. You forfeit the option of claiming a solid position after the fact.

    How is that vague?
Especially after I explicitly said "avoid Rogan".
Within me recommending going to specific people you like, is the recommendation to avoid Rogan.
If I'm clear on one, I'm clear on the other.

You actually have to hear "I, Diacanu, being of sound mind and body, wholeheartedly endorse Bad Astronomy and Neil Tyson's podcasts! They are wholesome, and nourishing, and will make your brain grow! I express this sentiment unambiguously and unmistakably!".

    Really? Fucking really?
    You're that cerebrally stunted?
    I don't think you are.
You're dumb, but not this dumb.

If you make a Youtube show, and put the audio version out as a podcast, you get to call it a podcast.
Why? People just gave up, and let it happen.
Like "toilet tissue" and "gourmet jellybeans".

Joe Rogan brought up the ‘cat litter for kids who identify as cats’ bullshit again.

Just a reminder THIS NEVER HAPPENED. The closest thing is this:

NBC News found one example of a school district keeping cat litter on campus.

The Jefferson County School District has had classrooms with cat litter since 2017, in case students are locked in a classroom during a shooting.

Jefferson County is where Columbine is located.

I actually listened to the clip. It was not in reference to that specific story, but "the wife of a friend" told him they had a litter box in a bathroom stall where she teaches. Likely bullshit. For now. I'm sure someone, somewhere, sees nothing wrong with forcing the world to accommodate their "identifying" as an animal, tree, piece of furniture, etc.
