In his case, I was only referring to my ability to figure out whether a death threat was empty or not. There's no way @Bill Carson has missed the news showing lots of LGTBQ+ people, and trans people especially lately, being assaulted, issued death threats, called "groomers" and goddess knows what else.

Hell, I had one person use my full name in a private message, on a board where no one was supposed to know any of that, and I'd never mentioned it. I try to tell people that Google's reach is very far, and that we all leave little bread crumbs whether we mean to do so or not, so when someone gives me a death threat, using my real name, on a site that I keep disconnected from everyone else, that is some scary shit. That's what the whole Libs of TikTok thing was on Twitter, because she would spread information by abusers who had doxxed trans people, getting her followers to harass those trans folks. None of this is far fetched or outside of reason, it happens every day, and while I know most threats are just people spouting bullshit, I've had real death threats using my real information, all because I'm trans, and my existence is somehow a threat to others.
