Sure, boxing is a weight class sport. No one stated that transmen competing in a male weight division was a problem. So the advantages in competition are nullified - you are only going against people the same size as you in weight, and the transitioning athlete has been pumped up with steroids to be equivalent. I'm sure this is the first of many. As long as the steroids that are being used are monitored so the transathlete doesn't gain a competitive advantage it's fine.

We won't see too many transmen in the higher weight classes because they didn't go through puberty as males and therefore will tend to remain smaller.

Adding weight classes into many sports though are problematic, as it really doesn't have much to do with speed, and for example in swimming you'd go from 20 events per division (and there's already 3 divisions) up to 200-300, if you organized it like boxing does. Boxing has 1 event, boxing, with 17 weight classes.

Honestly what this tells me that anyone thinks this is significant is that they still don't understand how this works, at all.
