A USA TODAY investigation has revealed that the prosecutor's star witnesses in San Diego's "antifa" trial are members of neo-nazi hate group American Guard, described by the ADL as "hardcore white supremacists". The DA has been trying to hide this fact. More on the DA.
Cop was “dry firing” his gun, when it went off and sent a real bullet into a school. https://twitter.com/k12ssdb/status/1573006607629578240?s=46&t=dCj_sAoSGvxtwnAbm31lTQ Given how vicious teens can be, I doubt if deputy Fife is going to want to keep working at that school.
Yeah, so this is fucking disgusting. Three cops working in an "explorers" program with teens. The program sounds like it's one where they take kids who've got some problems and pair them up with a cop to try and help the kid turn their life around. You know, give the kid a mentor, not so much have the kids on something like probation. Anyway, it looks like the cops had an inappropriate relationship with a 13-year-old girl in the program, possibly even pimping her out, and she later killed herself as a result. That's all according to the official investigation. No word on if the cops will face charges for any of this.

North Carolina Sheriff kicks off about "blacks" because they had the temerity to lodge a complaint about him: https://crooksandliars.com/2022/09/columbus-county-sheriff-i-m-sick-these Tell us again there aren't problems with institutional racism in America, FF.
Ron Johnson's ads here in Wisconsin are saying Mandela Barnes wants to let all the prisoners out of prison and abolish the police force. OMG. who's gonna save us from the criminals?!?!?!
Lawyer for LAPD officer killed during training exercise by other cops says dead cop was investigating a gang rape by four cops at least one of whom was there when he was beaten to death. https://twitter.com/lukeoneil47/status/1577062563929415680?s=46&t=GMtt9TQiPjze8El5C3XpfA ACAB.
The story at the link below says that the officer who was killed was a training instructor. It would seem strange to me that at a place like LAPD a training instructor would conceivably have duties outside training, and in particular ones that would involve investigating misconduct by other officers. The story also reports that the medical examiner ruled that that the death was an accident rather than a homicide and attributes injuries that the family claims are suspicious to efforts made to try to save the officer. BTW, is the cop who died also a bastard? https://www.latimes.com/california/...d-to-lapd-officers-training-death-sources-say
LAPD is mad because this survey shows half of households who have to live with an LAPD officer want to defund the police, and 52.4% want to DISMANTLE THE POLICE: https://twitter.com/stoplapdspying/status/1576993949373239297?s=46&t=LRlQyMf2vD7YxDGsW7z-SA
Wait, you're telling me random people on Twitter aren't legit news sources? No way! I also find it hard to believe @Ancalagon wouldn't use a reputable news source considering how many times he's criticized me for not using reputable news sources.
Michael Fanone, the Capitol police officer who was beaten with a "Blue Lives Matter" flag and tased repeatedly by Trumpist rioters, talks about being ostracized by fellow white cops for not sweeping January 6 under the rug. https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2022/10/07/michael-fanone-jan-6-riot-cop-00060556
You do realize there's a difference between taking a tweet and posting it here to generate discussion - including how reliable the tweeter is; and saying "this is a true statement because someone on twitter said so"? Right?
You do realize that people here post tweets as if it’s gospel and we’re not supposed to question it, right?
No, we are absolutely supposed to question it, it's just that the vast majority of tweets posted are - upon examination - not worth questioning as they are broadly correct. If you think they aren't, pose the question. Whereas the tweets YOU post are almost universally full of crap because you lack the critical thinking skills to check your damn sources BEFORE posting unlike most other posters. Hence why they always get questioned.
You do realize that you're the only one who thinks that, right? And SteveSomething-Number doesn't count. He hated tweets because he's a decrepit old Boomer who, like many of that generation, wanted everything handed to him instead of having to click through to the source.
So when Anc posts a tweet from Antifa of Seattle that’s a non biased legit news source, but I post something from the Hill or Reason magazine or even Fox, that’s a biased “news” source and isn’t to be believed?
Of course a post like that from Anc isn't a "news" source. Reason is mostly a good source (I bet I've been a subscriber longer than you have) though with both them and The Hill they often stray into biased territory (more with The Hill than Reason, which has far better sourcing). Fox isn't news. It's pure propaganda at this point. Only the simple-minded or willfully ignorant can't see that.
The Hill doesn't generally have bad information, as far as I can tell. Their main problem is their fondness for loaded "commentary" pieces by people concern-trolling with an agenda, i.e. "Democrats Should Be Worried About Kamala Harris' Likeability Problem, by a guy who you will only discover is a Republican strategist if you read all the way to the end of the article."
Nationwide, police car chases now kill more people than tornadoes, lightning, and hurricanes combined.
Less generational, and more that Steve is a humorless twat. After all, he didn't see this post by Lanz about Cassini burning up in Saturn's atmosphere as being remotely funny.
Jesus, this is probably the worst one I've seen. This officer was fired but he absolutely belongs in jail. After responding to an unrelated incident at a fast food restaurant, police officer notices a car that evaded him the day prior. He comes up and yanks the door open saying 'Get out of the car', and there's a teenager eating with a burger in hand looking shocked. When the kid doesn't immediately exit the vehicle and shrinks away when the officer grabs him the officer takes out his gun and starts shooting. At no point was the officer in any danger. The kid was shot but survived. https://www.yahoo.com/news/texas-officer-fired-shooting-hamburger-191402281.html
