There's some talk about moderate GOPers (the few that are left) joining with the Dems to put forward Fred Upton, a long time Michigan congressman who was recently gerrymandered out of his district by the GOP as punishment for voting to impeach Trump. Upton has already made history - he's the first US congressman to vote to impeach two Presidents, Clinton and Trump. Unlikely to happen, but I really don't want to see Kevin 'the Russians are paying Trump, I swear to God' McCarthy in the Speaker's role.
The fact that Herschel Walker is faring so well should raise alarm bells across Georgia, if not the United States, on the state of politics and education in the nation. By any objective measure, Walker is a fucking idiot.
One possible lesson from John Fetterman's victory and Herschel Walker's defeat: American voters are smart enough to tell the difference between somebody who has trouble speaking because he's recovering from a stroke and somebody who's just a braindead moron. Even if some Wordforgers are not.
It’s not that I’m happy Walker was defeated - I mean he’s a fucking retard who has no place in public office - it’s that I’m so happy that Ted Cruz looks like a total fucking idiot and loses yet again, carrying this retard’s water Ted is the biggest bitch in the history of politicians in the USA and it’s glorious to be reminded of it

Days of distillates now at 31.9 days, up 25% from the low of 25.4 days back in mid-October. Running out, shortages, what? https://twitter.com/gasbuddyguy/status/1600590040492642304?s=46&t=1miPIMYLRc4PEVsbZbYyZA
So much gas. Just paid $3.95. They begged me to buy it. There were jugs of it just sitting around. They were like take it. $3.95 buys a gallon of gas and a free lottery ticket. Insanity out here.
It was like daytime at 6 pm under the awning. The thing is so bright and clean. It’s by my kids basketball practice. Bradshaw and Kiefer.

Job numbers not only held but continued to improve. Unemployment at record lows. Inflation down. Majority of economists now think we’ll have a soft landing. No diesel shortage* in fact we are at an 11 month low price. Gas prices also down. Crude oil production highest since April 2020. How does it feel to always be so wrong about literally everything? At what point will you reconsider either your priors or your sources? (Both would be too big an ask.) *Did you ever get around to telling us where you got the idea that we had some kind of looming and horrendous diesel shortage coming? You’ve made it clear you don’t watch Tucker so you parroting him a day later has to be pure coincidence. I’d like to know your other source so I can judge them better in the future.
For those wondering this is TOTALLY not where FF got his horrible prediction from: https://twitter.com/TuckerCarlson/status/1586065636358328322 (Also, looks like Europe and the Northeast didn’t freeze to death… at least so far.)
