Better the man who walks towards you with his sword drawn, than the one who greets you with the handshake only to draw his sword when you turn away.
There appears to be a minefield in sector 1500, probably laid by James T. Kirk after scanning our planets. Edit: it seems to be increasing in size. I have no choice but to attack and hope your EWD engages.
All I know is my premiums promptly spike every time you create another of your Big Fun Whee Debris Fields. Insurance people are way too on-the-ball these days.
I'm out. I was gonna splatter myself on Bailey's planet until I captured it. The server was running slow so I forgot to buy an escape pod. I'm dead. Chewie captured my worlds.
Another successful day. edit: At this point I think it is safe to say Chewie has won, with the resources he now has available he can walk straight over my defenses.
Ouch. And he's not dead, either. Would've gotten him earlier today if SOMEONE hadn't crashed into the first minefield and wiped out about 90% of it. I'm looking at you, Timmy! P.S. Anyone know how they calculate the bounty if I attack 'someone' who's tech level is kinda low?
As I said to you in reply to your message ingame, I'm the one who first started using that tactic, so you are going to have to work harder to catch me out with it.
No I didn't invent it, I certainly seemed to catch a few people offguard when I started mining their sectors early in this game though. As the wreckage of your former ship will demonstrate.
I'm not hiding, I just don't have any reason to upgrade at the moment since I'm not attacking any worlds...I'm not going to pay trillions of credits for no other reason than to get you out of a bounty.
A moment of silence please for the inhabitants of BG-137-2. One of my scouting parties came across this world of Chewies, and was greeted with a population drastically short on resources, even lacking the basic power needed to maintain their world. My ship moved in to offer assistance and set up a base in the world. We were in the process of setting up a Genesis Device powered generator when something went terribly wrong. Initial analysis seems to suggest that the scientists from the world who had been entrusted with the project were not up to the task, education having suffered terribly during Chewies reign over that world. A cable was connected wrong and the Genesis Device detonated.
Or, you know, there was a plasma storm. Lucky you. Its all part of ruling 7% of the galaxy, you can only react to things so quickly. The world and its assets have been restored, such is my benevolence.
Come on Chewie, stop repeatedly scanning the world and take a shot...I boosted my tech levels so you can't use that excuse anymore.
I'm going to be away for a couple of weeks, I expect someone to take JE-2055-2 before I get back. Of course it might take a few attempts.
Okay, I'm calling Shennanigans. Somehow Timmy took 3 worlds and wiped out over 5 billion fighters combined, and there's no record of the combat. Fuck that nonsense, I can't even win when I'm supposed to? What the hell happened?
He had something like 600 billion torpedoes on his planet in sector 2055. Also, I wish I'd been quicker about capturing Chewie's planets. Damn.
It took nearly all of my money to upgrade my tech levels high enough to capture those worlds, but it was worth it. You had less than 20 billion fighters on each planet. Too bad I missed the last two before you logged in. Edit: Also, how is it that you now have negative credits on one of your planets?
There's no possible way you could've taken those worlds. No way. It would be in my logs, and also, you would be crying.
I had two HUNDRED billion on each, I upgraded. I'm calling bullshit, there's no record of you even SCANNING one of my worlds in my logs.
I'll post my sensor logs of your worlds before attacking them if you give me permission. I'll also post my sensor logs of your remaining worlds. Each planet had roughly 17-20 billion fighters.
