This lovely little discourse is a prime example of apostle, and is a wonderful lead-in to what I've been thinking about saying in this thread. Thank you, apostle.

I have three theories on apostle, and I can't decide which makes me care about him less.

The first theory is the easiest and, I suspect, wrong. He is honestly as dumb as he comes across, and he sincerely believes that he is forever right in all things. Though all signs point to him being an inbred, helmet-wearing, brain-dead, man-child whom has to be reminded to breathe, blink and swallow, I don't think this is the case. Were it, I doubt very seriously that he would be allowed near a computer.

The second theory is that he believes he is being funny. He sees what people disagree with him on, multiplies his personal beliefs to the nth level, and posts them here, in a feeble attempt at humor. "Call me a gun nut will they? Why, I'll SHOW them gun nut! Hur hur hur!!!" It's the equivalent of that kid you knew in grade school who thought it was funny to be combative and self-deprecating, but came across as insipid and deplorable. It is as though apostle is trying to be the next Enterpriser, but lacks the aforementioned poster’s wit, charm or charisma.

The third theory is that he believes himself to be a troll. He thinks that what he posts here gets us, his fellow posters, riled up and irritated with him. "Damn that apostle! How can anybody POSSIBLY believe any of this stuff?" he imagines us screaming at our computers, eyes bugging with disbelief. Like Michael Moore and Uwe Boll, he subscribes to the "As long as they're talking about me, I WIN!!!" theory.

If the first theory is correct, apostle (or person who reads for apostle), then I apologize for what I'm about to say. You're a very special boy, and God loves you. Please ignore the rest of this post.

If either of the next two theories are correct, then: Apostle, what you fail to realize is two-fold. Firstly, you inspire no more reaction in other posters than Viagra spam. Responses to your posts are nothing more than an eye roll. Usually, I (and I suspect others) just skim over them because I know what you're going to say, from the thread's topic. Replying/arguing with you is done at other poster's leisure, when they are bored. It is the debating equivalent of throwing a baseball against a wall. It's good practice for me, because the wall's never going to change. Today, tomorrow, or next week, the wall is going to react the same way because it lacks the ability to learn, comprehend or change.

Secondly, if you would just be yourself instead of this Jesus-freak,”IWANTTOKILL" neo-con persona with cut-and-paste religious beliefs that you have invented for the web, you might actually be an OK guy.
