    I'm glad to see that the Brady Campaign has finally realized what the rest of America already knows. Gun ownership has always been an individual right.

    If I could go back in time and prevent Brady from getting shot, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

    Maybe throw Sarah in front of the bullet.

    Oh that's too bad..the D.C. gun ban worked so well.:rofl:

    The Anti-gun lobby hasn't been doing to well these last few years and I honestly think that 9/11 had a lot to do with it..because after seeing 3000 people killed in less in 2 hours without a single gun involved the whole ideal of banning Guns and claiming that would make people safer seem just a little silly.:rolleyes:

    There's still about a million ways they can fuck us even if SCOTUS says the 2nd protects an individual right. I live in California; I've seen most of the million ways.

    If they can't stop you from owning and possessing a handgun, they'll try other shit like:

    ...stopping you from owning or possessing anything deemed an 'assault weapon;'

    ...regulating your local shooting ranges and gun stores out of business;

    ...throwing up bureaucratic hurdles to acquiring firearms;

    ...charging fees for transferring firearms, ammunition, etc.;

    ...making ammunition difficult to procure;

    ...curtailing the places you can shoot; instituting one-gun-a-month rules;

    ...making possession and usage laws so complex that violating the law and facing prosecution becomes inevitable;

    ...instituting "safe gun" laws that take cheaper firearms off the market and that require guns to have safety feature that haven't been invented or proven;

    ...regulating the storage of firearms and ammunitions; banning laser or holographic sights;

    ...classifying gunpowder burning and lead bullet usage as pollution;

    ...mandating training courses;

    ...requiring special insurance; etc., etc., etc.

    If Heller goes our way, it will be a great wedge to be sure. We'll have OUR RIGHTS (and that will be undeniably the mainstream position) to fight all this garbage with, but, rest assured, we are still going to have to fight...
