Re: Diablo 3 Just announced at Blizzard World Wide Invitational 'nother link... http://eu.blizzard.com/diablo3/
And the US one... http://www.blizzard.com/diablo3/ Links on this one seem to work, the EU ones don't....yet.
I love how they did the announcement...before they announced or showed the video...as the Blizzard CEO was babbling about the SC2 announcement last year and this years big announcement...Some guy came out on stage and with an regular acoustic guitar began playing the "Town Theme" from Diablo Then everyone knew...
Only showing the Barbarian and Witchdoctor character classes so far. However there will now be both genders available for all character classes. The map of Sanctuary has changed somewhat, especially around the Barbarian's lands. And apparently Mt. Arreat is no more....
I can't WAIT! I'm not happy they reset the ladder on bnet last week, so I'm busy looting and working my way back up. I suppose I'll just about get to level 99 again and III will come out and I wont surface for 6 months! That witchdoctor looks like FUN! mm
I never liked Diablo II online, tried it a few times, but i prefered offline more. Less idiots to deal with
I used to feel the same way, but changed my mind maybe a year ago. I still play solo via Battlenet, in password protected games, for normal play (levelling up, etc...) but I go to multiplayer Bnet games for extra experience, or to restock my character after getting his ass kicked by Diablo several times, for example. Or just as a change of pace. Secret Cow level games are an excellent source of easy gold, Super Potions, magical items, etc.... Don't do any duels, and generally don't do much trading either. BTW, if any of you are ever on Battlenet and you see a game named "Password Guess", it's either me or my brother. Come on in and join! The password will always be..."guess".
What time are you usually on? I dont trade or duel either. Right now I'm trying to complete all the green sets, level up an entire set of characters with out using any skills or points and just generally have fun. I should start looking for some open games. mm
^^^ It varies, but most often 9-11 PM Central time. But I'm not on there every night. In fact, it's only in the past 2 months that I've been playing again regularly. Before that it was only often enough to keep my character(s) active on the server. And I even failed at that a couple times!
D3 site updated recently with another Character class -- the Wizard! Asian-looking in features and clothing, said to originate from Tian Shai, the island(s) north of Scosglen on the world of Sanctuary.
