John Edwards' new plan for the other, poorer America: to provide children for pretty, single women...

I was hearing about this earlier this week. Kind of makes you wonder just how "committed" he was for helping his wife during her cancer treatments.

Is she hot?

"There are two Americas. In one America, I've been happily married to my wife Elizabeth for over 30 years. In the other, I'm a rich single lawyer who doesn't have a clue who this 'Elizabeth' is."

I wonder if John is aware of the problems stress can cause for someone when they are going through chemotherapy treatments for cancer?

Now he and Jessie Jackson have some dinner conversation.

I eagerly await the apologist's responses.

They'll likely say Liz knew and wanted him to move on after she's gone, he was just getting a jump start.

What's really scary is probably how accurate you are with that type of statement.

If the kid has gay TV news reporter hair, there will be no doubt about it.

We should be more accepting of those who choose to wear toupees. Losing ones hair can be a tough experience... for some.

I hope that this story is wrong, or at the very least, he has the decency to restrain himself while his wife's dealing with her illness.

Generally these stories turn out to be relatively accurate unfortunately. It is also a reflection on Edwards and what a horrible person he really is.

McCain had the same problem back in 1976 while stationed in Florida.

That doesn't surprise me either. But, this thread is about John Edwards, and his slimy actions.

I'm hoping it's not true for the sake of Edwards' wife (it is the Enquirer after all) but it's looking really bad. If it is true Edwards is the biggest piece of garbage since Newt Gingrich.

If there were a liklihood that it wasn't true, the Enquirer wouldn't have run it. They may be sensationalistic, but they've learned to check their facts first, having been stung by bad sources in the past.

Did you see the press conference where Edwards was asked about it? Really bad. But I don't see anything wrong with hoping it's not true for the sake of his wife even if the odds are worse than Powerball.

I'd really like to think Edwards is covering for someone else here, or we'll be re-living all of this once he's nominated for AG.

The source for this is the National Enquirer? And people believe it? And a "surprisingly good track record"?

What the heck are you on about? I don't think for a minute any of that crap happened. Tabloids aren't journalistic sources. Well, unless the target is a democrat and you are Fox I guess. And saying they are "generally right about these things" is hilarious, but again just shows Fox's true colors.

Yes they may be a sensationalistic rag but that doesn't mean they are not right. After all we are talking about a newspaper that has scooped the media on a lot of stories ranging from OJ to Bill and Monica.
