USC is being exposed as an over-hyped ESPN fantasy creation. Oregon St. has outplayed them in every facet of the game.

It won't matter if USC somehow comes back to win, they're out of the top 5 after that embarrassing half of football.

7:40 left in the 3rd quarter, and this little munchkin running back is still shredding the USC defense.

Well it was a tough loss, Marso. :itsokay:

Can't really blame USC, look who they were playing. A top 10 team, who won the big game twice in the last 6 years.

Oh wait.... they were playing OREGON STATE?!?!?!

USC just got their asses handed to them by Oregon State of all places. Wonderful. The SEC is the best conference in the country. Period. Fuck the Pac-10.

That would be fun to storm the field like that. Of course most of us went to universities where such behavior would get you tackled by a state trooper.

Every damned year certain teams* look at the schedule and just assume they're going undefeated, as if it's some sort of birthright. Every damned year they lose to some bottom feeder or an underdog. :)

This is the third year straight something like this has happened to SC. OSU this year AND '06, and last year it was Stanford.

    Dammit. :(

    Or you're just a giant pussy. ;)

I lost one of my favorite jackets to the fucking cops when Florida was No. 1, we unranked and we stomped a mud hole in their ass ('01).

Just remember, when they grab you, just keep running, don't stop, and shrug your shoulders... they can keep the jacket.

I remember that game. Since it was won on a field goal in the last minute how exactly was that a mud hole in our asses? :finger: I blame Spurrier.

Urban just lost that game for the Gators.

If he would have kicked the FG, they would have had the lead and Ol' Miss wouldn't have had time to do anything.

It's a shame when your team plays their hearts out, and Coach douchebaggery loses it for you.

    Sawk eet, Clemson. :diacanu:

And how about Duke and North Carolina?

Maryland should be ranked this week, after knocking off two ranked teams. If it wasn't for that turd they laid against Middle Tennessee, they'd be perfect and maybe as high as #15-18 or so.

I am absolutely sick of close Auburn games. Why can't they just put someone away early and have a good boring game?

I can be angry if I want.

This game is good, even if it's Wisconsin's fault instead of Michigan's effort.

Yet another overhyped pretender going down in flames. Georgia is being raped on it's homefield by Alabama. All that's missing are some lacross players and Mike Nifong to bring formal charges.

So much for the "toughest conference in America." :dayton:

    Oklahoma = #1

EDIT: Lee Corso just now declares Alabama the best team in America. Will somebody please euthanize this fossil?

Yep, USC really stunk up the joint.

Of course, so did Florida, Wisconsin, and Georgia was down 31-0 at half time.

In the meantime, I guess we'll just have to wait for Oklahoma to get into it's bowl game for their annual embarrassment.

When was the last time they won one of those again? :D

Let's see, last year was West Virginia with an interim coach without their #1 running back. But they showed their grit, only losing by 20 and allowing almost 50 points again. Boise State beat them, LSU, USC....

I like the fact in their wikipedia entry it doesn't even mention the 2004 season. You know, the one they went undefeated until they lost by 5 TDs to USC in the BCS championship game.

Damn, Alabama is KILLING Georgia at Athens. 41-17 at the moment, 7 mins left to go in the 4th quarter.

OU will be #1 in the next poll, but I have to wonder if 'Bama is the best team in the nation right now.

Playing bad and losing 31-30 on a blocked extra point really puts the icing on the cake. But at least we ain't Georgia!

As a sign of just how bad Texas A&M is, they narrowly beat Army 21-17.

And Army's football team sucks.

That was really fun game to watch. I'm a Spartan fan but I still enjoyed it. I only watched the 1st and 4th quarters though.

    MSU won again today :D
