I stand humbled.....the story of Yakub "the big headed scientist" should be teached to all of our white-devil children!

Yep.....one of my squad members was a Muslim (real Muslim from Africa) and had a book about The Nation of Islam/Black Muslims.

When I was in the Army, a bunch of us were being bused to some function or another and I got to overhear a very interesting conversation. This one black soldier was explaining to a few others that whites are the biblical descendants of Cain and that white skin is a curse from God. That was one of my more uncomfortable moments.

I can imagine the fun if whites were talking about black skin being a curse.

Yes, this is the fable of Yakub... I've heard it before and the truth is that this fable is no more or less ludicrous or outrageous than most fables in other major religions. Most people believe in some far out wacky shit based in religion.

For instance, I once had to treat a jehovah's witness that refused a blood transfusion in order to save her life.

There were and still are several Christians that habor racist views based on biblical stories of Cain and Abel as well as Noah's Ark.

The truth is that there is as much difference between Christians Muslims and Jews as there are between Catholics, Lutherans and Pentacostals.

I worked construction with a guy who said blacks can be traced back to some dude on Noah's Ark who pissed off God and was cursed - this equating blacks with being defective + evil.

There are some people that try to map the history of the races through the Biblically listed migratory paths of Noah's sons. I've not looked into this as I don't see any strong mention of race in the text, but Ham is who Africans descended from, according to scripture (he went into Africa).

"Descendants of Cain" isn't relevant within the Biblical narrative, because Biblically, we are all descendants of Noah and, further, his sons.

Using scripture to race bait is funny. It's even funnier when it's based on a bad interpretation of scriptural timelines.

White skin isn't exactly recessive; skin colour isn't a Mendelian trait. Phenotypical phenomena such as skin pigmentation, eye colour, and hair colour are determined by many separate genes spread over our chromosones, which is why biracial people can often be observed to have what looks like a blending of their parent's skin tones, for example.

But black skin did come first, yeah.

I'm actually morbidly curious to know what that stuff is based on, because I don't remember anything having to do with race from either of those stories from when I was forced to read them. I know some people hate Jews because they apparently still blame them for something that, if it actually happened, happened 2000 years ago. Plus the fact Jesus was supposed to be Jewish makes it extra ironic for them to be anti-semetic.
