Eh. It has been done. In fact, when WF was first founded many of our members left TBBS in a 'blaze of glory'... same thing happened in the early TK days... Personally, I don't see the point. I still have my account over there and I still visit from time to time because of the Sci-Fi forum... if you don't wanna post there, just don't post...
Well there's that, and there's the stupidity of creating multiple duals to try to get back in. So he blew his wad, then came running back with a different hat on so he could lick it up.
Generally, I'm the one who takes care of that (Spiff will do so in an emergency and this wasn't one,) and *gasp*, I was only online for about ten minutes earlier, so didn't have a chance to respond. I'm on now, and see I missed the glory of your exit, so I'll tell you what I would have said in my response. We rarely if ever delete accounts. We shut them if you wish. Or - wow - you could just scramble your password and voila! done! No drama that way though.
Me, too. There are a lot of things I obviously like better here but I check in over there once in a blue moon or so just for the heck of if.
