I obviously have no prior knowledge, but I watched the Colts Giants game the other night and was very impressed by the former. So are the Colts any good or are the Giants just crap?

The Colts are an excellent team. Especially in the regular season.

And the Giants are, in fact, just crap. Historically speaking, they've been phenomenally boring even when they've been in any way good, with the exception, at least within the course of my viewing lifetime, of isolated viewing of Lawrence Taylor.

Well, that wasn't how I expected that game to go. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. I just expected slightly better out of the defenses.

Mark Sanchez, the last two games: 36 of 58, 476 yards, 6TD, no picks. I was fairly optimistic about development, but I think this is more like a sign of the apocalypse. Of course, if it takes an apocalypse to get the Jets another Super Bowl, I'm all for it . . .

He's my biggest hero right now.

Of course, over a hundred yards of penalties didn't help Oakland any. Also, delete those two critical punt return fuck-ups that led directly to Oakland scores and Janikowski wouldn't even have been a factor in the game.

Helluva game between the Pack and Da Bears.

Less than 2 minutes to go, 17-17. Hard hitting action!! This is going to go down as a classic MNF game!! :techman:

What a fantastic, proud way to end a game: denial in the form of two forward laterals. :marathon:

They didn't really have any other options.

I'm glad that Green Bay got a loss. Chicago will get theirs later.

How is that you're a Jets fan Dixie boy? Shouldn't you be a fan of the Panthers, Falcons, Titans or one of those other southern teams?

    :sob:

    Patriots 41
    Dolphins 14

Every single Dolphin special team player should be shot.

Chad Henne needs his wife's arms to be broken as a warning to him and his interceptions.

Coach Sparano needs to go Soprano on the special teams coach and dump his body in the Atlantic. Then he and Parcells should probably join the special teams coach!

I honestly didn't expect the Dolphins to win but damn that was humiliating.

If I were the believing sort I'd say that this week amounts to god telling Bret Favre to retire for real.

Message to be reinforced by the Jets at some point this evening . . .

Favre had some good moments, but a lot of bad.

The Jets defense was consistently good, The offense had some great moments, but they didn't play consistently well.

Sill, a win is a win.
