Hot damn! Guy recognized a suspect in an Amber Alert, chased him down, forced him off the road, and rescued the girl! Also in the story, the kidnapping was almost foiled and a big part in their catching the guy to boot was because passerby intervened in the beginning too. Is America getting better?
We'll know for sure when we read a case like this in which a bystander pulls the perp from the vehicle and smashes his penis with a hammer!
Does "his" refer to "the perp" or "a bystander?" Because if it's the latter you've just revealed personal information about Volpone, and probably the same if it's the latter.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again; most Americans still give a damn, and it's nice when the news media decides to talk about it.
Gregorio Gonzalez. A gang member. In California. Who'll put a fiver on the table says he's illegal? In any case, pulling him from the vehicle is an option. Dragging him behind another vehicle into his gang's territory and then beating him to death in front of them, while about a dozen or more citizens keep guns trained on his friends, is an even better option.
And you're a clueless dick. So tell Skin how that affects the probability that a Hispanic gang member is a legal citizen. Oh, wait -- you can't, because both the positive and the negative assertion are conjectural. But the probability is still in Skin's favor, now ain't it, you dimwit douche?
Skin: I didn't bother reading your most recent post, but still I'm confident that you're a racist piece of shit, and an idiot to boot. 'Cause, you know, you are, and I believe things that are true.
I'd prefer a Jasper truck ride. Then bring on the while his buddies are yelling smack about getting revenge for their comrade. Win, win, the way I see it.
But, but, but.... I thought we were supposed to not interfere and let the little girl get driven away? Clearly this 'hero' was a selfish prima dona who only wanted to get his name in the paper. I mean, what if the little girl got hurt? What if some innocent bystander got shot? .... Morons.
Not sure how that reduces the probability that he's illegal, really. Extended family sharing the same house isn't exactly unheard of for illegals. Now if he had his own place and legitimate employment, that would make it doubtful.
The two cases are exactly the same because of the large land border that Illinois shares with Italy and the concomitant problem of large scale immigration from Italy into Illinois across said land border.
He wasn't discussing Perez; he ws discussing Gonzales. He is wondering, and betting five that Gonzales is an illegal. How the hell is that racist?
Because it's racist to acknowledge that 1 out of 4 latinos in the country are here illegally. It makes them feel bad. Of course, if the vast majority of latinos didn't actively support the others in breaking the law then we'd see less of a problem.
I'm counting the minutes until the liberal politicians try to have the truck driver charged with wreckless endangerment of a minor and obstruction of justice. After all, he stomped on the rights of the rapist and interfered in an active police investigation.
True, however, you know as well as I do that the news is mostly negative, and that this particular situation is pure gold for news agencies, because if they catch the guy, it's a hero story. If they find out she was killed, it's a tragedy. All of it means money. Tragedy simply makes more money. Don't get me wrong, the news media is important, but they make more money and higher ratings when the news is negative, which it is most of the time. I blame the 24 hour news cycle for part of it, and the other part on people who want a soap opera for a life.
Heh. Fucker was on felony probation when he kidnapped and raped that poor kid. I wish they would stop arresting drug users and make more room for longer stays for real scum like this fuck. The only upside is that his sentence should be even worse because of it.
Various stations around the country have tried the "good news" format and all have failed miserably. If there was an audience for "good news", every station in the country would be doing it. I'd love to work at a station that did nothing but good news or feature stories, but those places just don't exist.
Holy Crap man, That guy deserves a medal. The government should give him a tax free year or something.
OMG I love Oreos! You could kill Chaos and I would be ok if you gave me a life-time supply of Oreos. Not Hydrox-Os. It has to be the real thing. Actually, I just made myself sad.
