Seriously? He wasn't going to be murdered by the US in any event and you can't really think diplomatic asylum is going to keep him alive if Putin decides Assange is getting a Polonium 210 injection, do you? I mean, you're not really that naiive, are you?
Wait, Legion's name is Danny?!? I did not know that. [/carson] Did I miss him posting that somewhere?
Why should I ask Tamar, you're the one throwing the man's name around and I am asking where it is thet he made that a known from his own hand. Otherwise, I am of the opinion you have used his name in a manner in direct violation with board policy. Go ahead and see if you can pull it up, I'll wait....
Example: http://wordforge.net/showpost.php?p=673455&postcount=24 It's in a lot of the old Vizionrazor threads, which have unfortunately been deleted along with the rest of the board.
Nope, that woulda been other WFers who used it here, not Skin. Skin put it up on a different board a long-ass time ago, but never put it on WF.
Ok, thanks for that, but,.... that's Tamar saying it, where did he let it be known. Oh, I see what you did there, you threw Tamar under the bus. Ok.
At the very least, he's helping pay for Bradley Manning's defense against the charges. Sounds like support to me.
Helping pay for the legal defense of one of his sources after the fact is hardly indicative of having purchased the information to begin with.
You don't think supporting a traitor is treason? OK, supposed Manning is found guilty. Does that mean you'll retract your comment here and admit that Assange is an accomplice?
You were accusing Assange and not Manning of treason? You are aware that Julian Assange is not an American citizen, are you not?
If paying for the defense of a defendant makes that person an accomplice after the fact (assuming that defendant is found guilty), then anyone who pays taxes is guilty of pretty much every crime imaginable isn't he?
No, Assange never raped anybody. The investigation was terminated TWICE, and is pursued again, for the third time now, for obvious political reasons.
If you are the person encouraging someone to commit treason and they get caught, you paying for their defense is hardly the right reason. It smacks of covering your own butt more than serving a more noble purpose. Besides, as you've already pointed out, it's hardly like the guy in question isn't going to get a fair trial, paid for by the citizens of the U.S.
I gotta say, thinking about it, you can't hold it against the rapist for releasing the material. He isn't an American citizen and he's in the media business. If it bleeds it leads. But any American who is leaking to him--or supporting him, is a traitor.
