I would seriously pay a good player who is a good coach/teacher type to tutor me.

Dear god, that Vietnam level in the campaign is fucking insane.

I wouldn't know. I died after blowing up a few tanks, then it was bed time. I think I might be enjoying the campaign more than multiplayer, though.

Honestly, dude... It wouldn't help you. Those guys you see with 27 kills and 3 deaths per match put in a ridiculos amount of time into this game. Some of them have modified controllers and what not. I once asked a guy to play me in private matches to help me get better and he refused saying it would be worth it for him. I looked him up on the leaderboards and saw that even though Modern Warfare 2 had been out for only 4 months at that time, he had already spent about 21 days of that time playing multiplayer.

We have lives. Wives, kids, businesses, hopes and dreams. I can't afford to invest that kind of time into video games, period. So I could either allow my competitive instincts to get the best if me and stop playing a game I truly like or I could continue to play the game and get out of it what I can. When I get mowed down by some 13 y/o snot-nosed punk, I take a look to see what kind if time they are putting in. Very often, they have multiple amounts of time more than me. I don't feel bad at all about it. Even if I did put that kind if time in for a period of time to get better, I wouldn't be able to keep up with the people playing the game for very long. So I don't sweat it.

When you say modified controllers, are you talking about the rapid fire controllers?

I always do too. It's hard for me to understand, but there are some, most even, who don't even bother with the campaign. My son, who's 17 has no idea of what the Bay of Pigs was and the story about "black ops" is lost on him. None of his friends played the campaign.

I really liked the campaign, but the value of the game is in the multiplayer.

Zombies really isn't doing it for me this time.

I'm not sure what will happen to the franchise - new engines are gonna be DOA and this one probably won't make another cut.

For a little bit the campaign seemed stupid and contrived, but after a while I really started to enjoy it. If you read the some of the intel it was argued that Mason was NOT fit for duty after returning from Vorkuta, but for some reason they sent him into the field anyway.

Took me WAY too long to figure out the game wanted me to dump those barrels of napalm on the bad guys. I realize the dialogue with the other friendlies out there explained it, but gimme a break. All those explosions and gunshots light my surround sound right the fuck up.

But like I said, I've got seven speakers bumping full-auto weapons fire and grenade explosions at my head. I have to pay attention to hear what was said. Meanwhile, I've got VC cutting me to pieces from multiple directions...

That should go without saying. :diacanu:

It's all aging a bit now, but it's still a pretty stout sound system. The TV is the weakest link, honestly. A 50", 1080i Sony rear projection screen with a dying "light engine" that'd cost more than I paid for the whole TV (used) to get replaced.

Was playing a few rounds of wager match tonight and a player started trash talking my friends and I. I made it a point to beat his ass thoroughly without allowing myself to be dragged into the verbal battle with him. After two rounds of savagely beating him his trash talk continued telling me that I was terrible and that I could friend him and he would train me. This is when I decided to speak up, to ask, "Why in the fuck would I want to friend you?"

He continued on for another three matches with a vitriolic speech about how terrible I was, how big of faggots my friends and I were, how we should all look him up on youtube because we don't know who he is. After the final round where we all decimated him, he ragequit, saying that he was going to report me. Score 1 for me, annoying internet tough guy 0. Also I did look him up on youtube, the only clip I found related to ouija1 from Black Ops was of somebody stabbing him, so I think it's safe to say he is generally hated.

I'm your man. Right now I'm at 649 kills on Kino and at round 24 or so on the leaderboards... But that's only because I get bored after playing for 1 1/2 hours.

    Add me. hyperhealer3
