There's no gun that's gonna save you when your wife decides to kill you in your sleep.

In this instance, the intruder might have forced the gun away from a home owner and then used it to harm someone else.

Ignoring the sarcasm of the OP, it is good that they did not have a gun in this instance.

Further, if the police don't deem it prudent to charge the wife, then I see no reason to be suspicious of her.

Which thing can only happen when the homeowner holding the gun has been so thoroughly brainwashed by anti-gun zealots that he or she is incapable of pulling the trigger. For those of you who don't know, the TBBSers are apparently disappointed that I acted responsibly in gun ownership.

I arrived home several years ago and found that several things had been disturbed, and then heard a noise. No family or friends had told me they were coming over, and I lived alone in a part of town where crime is not unknown. In fact, burglary and home invasions were common.

I was approximately mid way into my place. Calling 911 would have simply let someone know I was there if they didn't, and there was no way a response time would have been quick enough had that happened. Further, I did not know how many people I was dealing with or how far they were willing to take an altercation.

So, I did what I go to classes to do and what I practice to do: I drew my 1911 and prepared to defend my home. I cleared my apartment, and quickly found my mother in my kitchen.

Since I verify targets before I fire, I did not shoot my mother. A conservative woman did not get shot, so the libtards such as Jenee were angry.

Of course, Jenee has a problem with this. I defend my home, while she abandons it and all her family inside while breaking the marriage oath. She's sort of nuts.

Oh, and by the way Jenee, I don't know you. Don't get any ideas about breaking into my place, as I will not hesitate to use all options to defend it. My wife will treat things in the same manner I would as well (though she would be more scared and probaby pull the trigger more on a home invader).
