Rap is like any other music. Some is good, some is really good, some is really bad, most is mediocre.

Conventional singing is controlled screaming with a poetry skeleton.
When you think of it scientifically, rap is just cutting out the middle.

I have to admit I still have a soft spot for Run-DMC and maybe some of Will Smith's stuff...but besides that I really don't like rap.
