    *Have you ever noticed that when ever you mix the subject of guns with any other subject (in this case hot, soapy water....and a dog with a shampoo mohawk), it always becomes a double entendre? :unsure:

    I have noticed that. A lot of liberals say it is because guns are a phallic symbol, but I think that just proves that they hate phallus*.



    *I am not sure what the plural form of phallus is.

    When shit was really dirty and needed to be cleaned quickly, shaving cream (the cheap stuff, not the gel) and hot water will do the trick. Just squirt the stuff into every little nook and cranny, then thoroughly wash. Wipe off what you can and put outside (still disassembled) to dry. Afterwords thoroughly coat with CLP. Store overnight. Next day break it all down, give it a quick wipe and you're good to go.

    I've used brake cleaner and synthetic motor oil with excellent results. I'm so lazy I even bought a little air gun that uses C02 cartridges to shoot little srubbly-cotton pellets down the barrel. :ramen:

    Why? I used to take my M16 or M60 into the shower all the time to clean it. All you gotta do it thoroughly dry with with patches, a towel, and hair dryer, and then lube it.

    How does that work for you? Right now I just use a bore snake.
